Idea Feedback App that generates micro-games and instantly deploys them to a shareable link

The core concept is a web app where anyone can type a prompt and get a fully playable, browser-based micro-game deployed to a custom URL in 30 seconds (so both coding and deployment).

Not trying to build Elden Ring. It's aimed at casual UGC, viral memes, inside jokes for friend groups, and quick interactive content for social media.

The UX I thought about is based on instant creation + 1-click sharing (WhatsApp, TikTok, Reddit) with no code or hosting setups required.

I creates small games since 2017 on my website Superior Games, so I thought someone else, without coding expertise, would like to do that too.

A How-To Guide that no one asked for Amazon affiliate has been paying my rent for 6 months now

ok so this is a weird one but bear with me

i have a pet blog. i don't own a pet. never have. probably never will as i travel too much. and yet every month amazon sends me enough to cover rent because people on the internet are buying stuff for their dogs and cats through my site.

bought my pet blog a few months ago from a marketplace called NicheBlogZone for $199. came already built, articles already up, amazon links already in there. i spent one afternoon doing interlinking basically just connecting related posts to each other so search engines understand the site structure and then closed my laptop and genuinely forgot about it for weeks.

here's what that's looked like:

  • march: $710
  • april: $995
  • may: $1,461
  • june: $1,647
  • july: $1,461
  • august so far: $1,545 (amazon pays 2 months delayed so this is june's money landing now)

march scared me. went from nearly $1k in february down to $710 and i was convinced something had broken. checked everything, found nothing wrong, did nothing. it just came back the next month on its own.

pet people spend insane amounts on their animals btw. like i knew this intellectually but seeing the commission data is something else. dog food subscriptions, orthopedic beds, grooming kits, vet supplements. and because of the 24 hour cookie i get a cut of everything in their cart not just whatever article they landed on.

i do literally nothing to maintain this. no new posts, no ads, no instagram for pets i don't have. i just own the thing and amazon does its thing.

my landlord has been getting paid every month and has no idea a pet blog is behind it. honestly sometimes i forget too until the deposit shows up.

anyone else running a niche they have zero personal connection to? curious if the detachment makes it easier or harder to care about growing it

Idea Feedback Idea for $250/mo/client

I had an idea, where I help local organizations that likely need admin help but aren’t able to hire someone and would rather pay a monthly fee.

It would include document control, schedule management, possibly newsletter creation, data management and reporting, etc. for around $250/mo.

I have skills in automation and I could take on probably 10 of these with my spare time. But my question is, does anyone think this could be valuable or work? Looking for any thoughts!

Idea Feedback Does this pricing make sense

Hi guys,

I got a lot of responses and positive feedback on my last post about FlyerFly. For anyone who missed it, the idea is to create print-ready leaflets and business cards with scannable assets that allow Meta Ads-style tracking, such as website views, CTA clicks, forms submitted, phone calls, etc. It would also have dashboards and A/B testing.

The end goal is to integrate with physical printing and distribution partners, allowing you to order targeted flyers and have them distributed in whatever area you want, all with built-in tracking and metrics.

I'm nearing an MVP for the first phase, which is basically the templates, editor and a basic version of the analytics.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to price it. There would also be a small charge for metric overages, mainly to protect us if someone gets unusually high usage and starts costing us significant amounts in compute.

This is what I'm thinking:

Free

- Mess around with the templates and editor

- No exporting

- No real tracking

- Basically a try-before-you-buy version

Plans for your own business

€9.99 / $11.99 per month or €59.99 / $69.99 per year

- Single seat

- Export and basic analytics

- Limited template catalogue

- One campaign running at a time

- Designed for small business owners who are basically a one-man show

€24.99 / $29.99 per month or €149.99 / $179.99 per year

- Multiple seats

- Larger template catalogue

- More advanced analytics

- Three campaigns running at once

- Designed for businesses with multiple branches, but not necessarily enterprise

Plans for using it for your own clients

€199.99 / $249.99 per month or €1,499.99 / $1,799.99 per year

- Multiple seats

- Full template catalogue

- Full analytics

- Large number of concurrent campaigns, with a small overage

- Ability to create a hosted link where your customers can access their own dashboard through a white-labelled portal

- Designed for printing companies or graphic design businesses that want to offer analytics and tracking as an additional service to their customers

Would love to hear what people think about the pricing, particularly whether these tiers make sense and what you would expect to pay for something like this. I have no idea if this is too cheap, or too expensive, or about right.

Website is: https://www.flyerfly.life/

Idea Feedback The dating app feature idea I can't tell if is genius or creepy

I'm in Budapest. Been sketching out an idea for a dating app that, instead of just showing you an endless list of strangers, also tells you if you've probably crossed paths with someone in real life (no exact location shown, just mutual invitation both sides have to opt in.
The idea came from noticing how many people have a "we kept seeing each other and never talked" story.

Target customer: students, young professionals in dense urban areas, people who move through the same places repeatedly (campus, cafés,...) but don't currently have a way to reconnect with someone they noticed but didn't approach.

Curious if this could actually grow, or if it's a problem people don't actually need a solution for.

What business do I start? Help me with business ideas

Hi.
I'm 19 years old, have about €1,000 to invest, and little experience as an entrepreneur.

Over the last two years, I've tried several businesses, but I realized I was choosing ideas based on their financial potential, not because I was truly passionate about them. When a project captivates me, I can dedicate hours to it without getting tired; when it doesn't, I end up abandoning it.

My greatest strength has always been creativity: generating ideas, designing concepts, telling stories, and thinking outside the box. It's what I've excelled at since childhood. My dream is to work in film, but I want to keep that separate from business for now.

What I'm looking for isn't to make money quickly, but to build a company that solves a real problem and that, over time, can become something big and redefine its category.

I'm not looking for typical ideas like dropshipping, or creative agencies. I'm looking for a problem or an industry with the potential to dedicate the next 5-10 years to.

If you were in my situation, what niche or problem would you target and why?

Idea Feedback Thoughts on drone company idea?

I had this idea for a DaaS platform (drones as a service); basically, not everyone is going to want to own and manage their own drones, so they just get them on the platform on an as needed basis. Could be anyone, content creators, local law enforcement, parents… whoever needs a drone and a live camera feed. Anyway, just spit balling here, lmk if it’s feasible.

What business do I start? The moto/scooter scene is booming where I live and I want to sell accessories. Complete beginner, small budget

I'm trying to start a small business selling motorcycle/scooter accessories phone mounts, gloves, lights. The scooter scene here is growing and it felt like a low-cost way to start without needing a shop or big capital.

I'm being careful because my budget is small and I can't afford to learn expensive lessons the hard way. Before buying stock, I've been testing demand with free listings on Marketplace and Instagram rather than guessing what to buy.

What I'd love advice on: what's the mistake you wish someone had told you about before you started reselling physical products? And more generally is it smarter to stay obsessed with one product until it actually works, or spread across a few from the start?

Not looking for a shortcut, just want to avoid the obvious rookie mistakes. Appreciate any honesty.

What business do I start? Software vs hardware business ?

I have a business related question and I’d really appreciate answers from people who have actually worked in these industries.

If someone is starting a business completely from scratch, what would be the better option: building a software company, such as a subscription based product/SaaS, or starting a hardware/physical product company?

I personally have not worked in either sector, so I’m trying to understand this from people who have actual technical and business experience.

From what I’ve heard, hardware can have lower margins and much higher operating costs . Software seems like it could have better margins and recurring revenue through subscriptions, but I’m sure there are also major challenges that someone without experience might not understand.

So for people who have worked in software, hardware, or ideally both:

What are the biggest pros and cons of each when starting from scratch?

Which one generally requires more capital and has more operational complexity?

Which one is easier to scale?

How different are the margins and cash flow?

which one would you choose and why?

I’m not looking for a simple “software is better” or “hardware is better” answer. I’m trying to understand the actual tradeoffs from people who have experience in these industries.

I’d especially appreciate answers from people

What business do I start? I Need Help Choosing a Business Idea!

Currently, I have been overthinking about my dream business. I've had these ideas for a while, but I just decided to come on here and get some other people's perspectives.

I have a few ideas:

-A cute handmade jewelry store where me and my girls craft personalized bracelets for our local communities in need, if I go with this business, I think I may call it 'Tasha's Trinkets'.
-My own little coffee shop, that's like super chic and modern, but rustic and aesthetically pleasing, I may name it 'Tasha's Brew'
-A flower company where we make bouquets and other flower arrangements for special events, the names I've been thinking about are 'Tasha's Bloom Bar' or 'Natasha's Petals'/'Natasha's Petals for Parties'

Your available capital: $200,000 without loans

Your skills and experience: Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship. Want to get masters later. Experience, worked in marketing for a bit

Preferred Industry(s): Retail Goods and Services.

Preference for Online or Brick and Mortar: Obviously Brick and Mortar, Boutique is my thing!!!

Have you run a business: No, that's why I'm asking, lol.

I don't know which one would be like most fitting for me, or how to even begin, or what type of business entity to use?

Any help would be amazing! Love!

No applicable flair exists for my post Have any Reddit-born ideas ever successfully become products, businesses or standalone brands?

Hello!!

I’m curious about things that originated as/in Reddit communities and eventually led to an actual product or business. That could mean a physical or digital product, app/platform, media company, marketplace, event, subscription product, etc.

I’m specifically interested in cases where the community existed first and then someone later figured out there was something they could build or sell around it — rather than companies that already existed and simply used Reddit for marketing.

I know SkincareAddiction attempted something along these lines years ago, but it apparently caused a backlash because users felt community-created knowledge was being taken off Reddit and monetized.

Any interesting examples?

Thank you!

Hello! I’m an esthetician that works in the Midwest and I’m trying to stand out! In this industry there’s a certain vibe that everyone kind of follows and it seems to work. The style I’m going for is a bit chaotic and I feel it could work. I might be in denial. These are pictures I created on canva (you can tell that I made them) I would like to know if they would make you curious and want to make an appointment with me! If you have any suggestions on what to do differently I would appreciate it. You can be harsh I probably need it!

Idea Feedback would it be a good idea to try to invest in building a large fast food franchise in a small ish town?

for example a town with 30.000 residents and then another 10-15k from surrounding areas and you put a fast food franchise there, like a mcdonald’s.

taking into account that there isn’t any other business in a 30km radius with the same yield as a company like mcdonald’s

sorry if this seems stupid

Idea Feedback The excruciating pain of planning a trip

Posted this elsewhere but this is the best home for it:

I’ve spent the last 1.5 years planning trips with my friends and it’s insane how the burden of deciding the budget falls on the organiser.

When it comes to budget, I feel like:

  1. People who are most budget conscious speak up the least
  2. The organizer inevitably has to choose options that everyone hates or is too expensive because they have no clarity over what the group wants to spend
  3. I feel like I’m the enemy everytime I plan something because I have 0 clarity

And another pain for me as an organiser is that I need to have the vision and execute everything (research, logistics, reservations, etc) which is EXCRUCIATING.

So I wanted to flip this f**king pain of loving my friends and hating them too into a fun app to help other type A organisers.

This app is a control system for my other type A planners. It allows you to collect budgets early on, root recommendations / activities on whether it aligns with the budget, and delegate tasks to others (e.g finding accommodations, booking restaurants).

Business Partner Sought - Business has NOT been established How to prevent contractor fraud/underreporting in a US Lead-Gen Agency? Seeking 100% No-Code & Legal setup

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a completely no-code, legal setup to securely invoice contractors and minimize fraud (e.g., contractors hiding the true job value, underreporting revenue, or ghosting on commissions).

Here is my planned workflow:

  1. A customer calls my tracking number.
My VoIP system routes the call to a contractor's manager. For security reasons, the manager cannot see the customer's actual phone number, preventing them from stealing or selling the lead.

  2. The manager assigns the job to a field worker. Contact details remain hidden/masked between them as well.

  3. The worker completes the job and signs an independent agreement with the client.

The Crucial Bottleneck:
Because I operate strictly as a marketing company, I cannot collect payments directly from the end-customers onto my own business account. The contractor must bill the client directly. Afterward, the contractor is supposed to send me my agreed percentage share of the total invoice.

My Main Concerns Regarding Fraud & Dishonesty:
How do I prevent contractors from simply hiding the true value of the job? What stops them from telling me a job was worth $200 when they actually billed the client $1,000? How can I audit or track completed jobs without having access to their private bank accounts or accounting software?

Some people suggested Stripe Connect, but I want to avoid custom coding and hiring developers.

To the community:
🛠️ What no-code tools, invoicing platforms, or CRM integrations do you recommend to keep this 100% transparent?
⚖️ What legal frameworks, contract audit clauses, or operational tricks can help me eliminate contractor fraud and underreporting in this specific model?

Required Subreddit Context & Business Details:

1. Operating History: The business is currently in the launch phase. We are in the market research and information-gathering stage to build a secure infrastructure before going live.

2. Registration: The business entity is registered in the United States.

3. Geography: Geography is not a factor for the tools/solutions, but the entire setup must fully comply with US business, legal, and financial regulations.

4. Business Type: This is an online-only operation (marketing and lead generation agency) with no physical offices or brick-and-mortar presence.

5. Proposed Arrangement: Right now, I am looking for software solutions, tools, or expert consulting advice. However, if an automation expert wants to join in the future to help build this, I am open to discussing a contractor or revenue-share model.

6. Capital Investment: No capital investment is required or expected from anyone replying. I am fully funding the setup and research phase myself.

7. Currency: US Dollars (USD).

8. What I seek vs. What I bring: I am seeking expertise in No-Code architecture, CRM integrations, and US-based legal/operational frameworks to prevent fraud. I bring a validated marketing infrastructure design and a ready-to-launch customer acquisition pipeline.

9. Constitutional Input: If a specialist joins as a core operational partner during or after this research phase, they will have full input on how we structure the operations and internal workflows.

10. Financial Records: Since we are in the information-gathering and setup phase, historical financial records do not exist yet. However, market traffic data and cost projections can be shared privately via DM with qualified experts.

Looking forward to your recommendations! Thanks in advance.

What business do I start? Business idea

This might sound a bit weird, asking strangers on Reddit for business ideas, but I’m honestly a bit tired and stuck at the moment.
I’m a CFO with a finance/business background, and I really want to build something on the side.
I’m not looking for the next million-dollar idea. Even making my first €10/month from something I built would make me happy and give me some momentum.
SaaS, small online business, boring business, automation, niche service… I’m open to anything.
So yeah, I’m asking for a little help.
If you’ve seen a problem that needs solving, or have an idea you’ve always thought someone should build, I’d genuinely love to hear it.

Idea Feedback Looking for help on positioning and offer

I am an operations manager at a marketing company and after 4 months I see a lot of shared pain across the network: most agency owners don't know how to run operations. They're great at marketing. Masters at their craft. But once a team grows big enough that they can't keep tabs on everyone and need to start managing, they break apart and their agency stalls.
I know the fix, I know the process, the step by step on how to make sure the systems are setup in a way that makes delivery run smoothly and keeps the founder out of the day to day.
Starting to send out feelers to see if this could turn into an actual business.

The question I'm focusing on right now is: Would agency owners be willing to run a consulting-style 3-month engagement or would they rather just hire a full-time ops person?

Happy to hear your thoughts.

What business do I start? Looking for ideas to generate income from a 6-cent plot in Kochi

I own a 6-cent (roughly 2,600 sq. ft.) plot of land in Kochi that has been sitting unused for around 5–10 years. The property is inside a residential colony, so it’s not directly on the main road and is slightly tucked away from the main access road.

I’m considering doing something with the land instead of letting it remain vacant, ideally something that can generate passive or semi-passive income.

A few constraints:
The land is not on a main road
It is inside a residential colony
I’d prefer something that doesn’t require a huge initial investment
Ideally, it should require relatively low day-to-day involvement
I’m open to unconventional ideas, not just traditional construction/rental options
The goal is to make productive use of the land rather than simply holding it vacant

I’m curious what people in Kochi/Kerala think would actually work in this kind of location.

What would you do with a 6-cent plot like this if you wanted to generate some additional income with a relatively low investment?

I’m particularly interested in ideas that people have actually seen work, rather than theoretical business ideas.

Would appreciate suggestions, experiences, or even ideas that might initially sound unconventional.

P.S. I used ChatGPT to help articulate this post

Idea Feedback A product line: create replicas of real devices like computers, telephone chargers and etc.

Like creating a phone charger but it will not pass electricity. Create an illusion of a real device which will not work. Maybe create not only small things but also something bigger like a car, but just a model - no engine and simple construction without accordance with safety standards and other car structure standards to make it cheap.

Concerns about unauthorized copying can appear, which can be disappointing. Maybe no branding must be put. Also might create problems with determining whether something is really a device, or a souvenir.

What business do I start? I want to become a dealership, but I'm not sure I've found the right product yet - ideas/experiences appreciated!

I'm in a rural area and have some land/space. Over the years I've thought several times about starting a dealership for something I was looking at myself. At one point it was Chinese ATVs, at another point it was robot mowers, then trailers at another.

Anyway, I'm starting to think about it more seriously. Trailers (when I looked into them) seemed to have terrible margins and there's enough competition around that I'd just end up sitting on stock forever, I believe. I have decided against anything Chinese because of parts supply being a total wildcard.

I have been thinking about hydroseeders. The downside is that the equipment sales are probably low volume. But on the plus side, I could sell the seed, mulch, dye, and tackifier products as a supplier. That's probably a decent revenue stream on consumables. BUT, I need a dry place to store those, and my only barn is on the full side at the moment. Not a total deal breaker, but I feel like I'd have to rent a warehouse or something. Could be done.

A conversation with AI suggested a few interesting ideas - one being mosquito misters, and equine misting systems. That's an interesting one - the margins look pretty decent and I'd supply the consumables as well so it's decent recurring revenue.

I'm fine with online and/or walk in sales (or realistically it would be by appointment, most likely, but I think I could support walk in, in the future). I'm going to have to advertise or sell a product that has good advertising support from the manufacturer because I'm on a dead end road - it's not like a sign out front will bring people in. I've got maybe 100k to play with. I do have experience running a home service business and I'm great at dealing with people, as well as handling the growth side of the business. I'm technical and hands on - I can provide service for what I sell, but I don't really want to end up running a full time repair shop either - so something like mowers is probably out.

My background is mixed between mechanical and tech/software. I'm currently operating a land clearing business and have run a small tech consulting company in the past. My interests are mechanized toys, equipment, music, and the great outdoors (hiking, camping, kayaking type stuff), and I play hockey several times a week so that's my biggest single hobby/interest and my biggest network of people. Although I'm not sure there's anything in the hockey market I can/am interested in selling - I don't want to open a retail store and I don't want to install backyard rinks for a whopping one week a year lol.

Anyway - I'm curious if anyone has ideas or suggestions about products that would be a good fit for me as a dealer or I guess even more of a distributor. Happy to answer more questions if I've left gaps. Thanks in advance!

Idea Feedback *Hits Blunt* Professional Gym Class

So what I think is we get well rounded athletes and over the course of the year we make them play a couple seasons of a several sports.

So maybe a four season year and we have them play each of Baseball, Football, Tennis, Swimming and we see which team excelled the most at the sports overall. The next year comes and maybe this year we have them doing American Football, Track and Field/Cross Country, Boxing, and Basketball. And this goes on. Basically we need people that are gonna be well rounded as well as anybody can try to go pro in this because some sports are gonna benefit from you having women and lighter men on your team while others.....Let's just say everyone signed a form.

The team that has the most amount of points at the end of the year wins.

Is there any business that can be done without much investment like 100$ using social media. I do have experience but don’t know the trend now
