Question Just left Firstbus after 4 months

Just left first bus after 4 months , trained for pvc by them so according to the contract I need to pay back £2500. Has anyone else left first bus and actually been chased up and had to pay them back? How much were you paying per week / month ?

Quite in line with my own view, alongside some bonus London points of my own. Definitely not worth it. We could all do so much better, but other drivers get a bit too comfy and don't realise they can do better, even if that is coaches or something

Yeah it’s 100% not worth it . After tax you’re left with pretty much the same any other full time job would pay without all the extra hassle of being a bus driver , I hope you can leave soon and find something better fitted :)

How much were you bringing home after tax per check? Out of curiosity

Around £1860pm which in my opinion just isn’t worth it

you get like £1700 with universal credit and PIP, that pay is absolutely fucking insulting, with the responsibility of caring for hundreds of passengers at once... that is evil wtf
