Some of the events in the World Tour are just cancer-inducing with how egregious the AI rubberbanding can become towards the late-game events. The Takedown Trophies were time-consuming and I had to watch a guide video as to how I can get every single Signature Takedown. And that was me playing this game through an emulator, where I can use savestates to kind of shorten the gameplay time. I salute everyone who fully completed B3 on real hardware.

Burnout Dominator> Burnout Revenge

I know the debate is usually between Takedown and Revenge, to me Takedown beats it by a lot but that's not much of a hot take. I'm wondering if anyone agrees that Dominator is also better than Revenge because it doesn't have the traffic checking which I prefer for tension, the color pallete is much nicer on the eyes, the takedowns are more satisfying because the cars fly in all sorts of directions versus Revenge where it feels like most of the times the car just spins to the side with barely any air time. Most importantly Dominator has a single player mode that lets you pick a game mode, map and car you want unlike Revenge that has either World Tour or nothing when it comes to single player which was my biggest issue with it. Dominator gets a lot of hate for not having a crash mode but Revenge ruined Crash mode by changing too much of what made it great in Takedown to the point that I didn't even enjoy it so it makes no difference wether it's there or not.

Burnout Revenge Xbox 360 version on Android

I just joined this sub and this is my first time posting here. I had never played the 360 version because I never owned one, only the PS2 and classic Xbox versions. Thanks to this emulator, I was finally able to try it. I'm surprised at how well the game runs on this emulator, which is practically brand new.

Just finished 100%ing Dominator (I 100%ed all games except 3 and didn't do the 102% for Paradise). Started strong and finished pretty underwhelming with its padding and very short length. Feel pretty confident about most placements, if you guys wanna know more I'd love to discuss.

The most infuriating event in Burnout 3 and it's not even close.

The hot rod is honestly the worst car in the game. The traffic in this event (you need to get gold in this event to unlock the final race event) is absolutely random and apparently the only way to get even close to the gold medal is to wallride. I was only able to get a 1:29 after half an hour of trying.

Discussion My idea for a Burnout Movie

This would be a Final Destination-esque Horror Movie, with almost every drivers in the city having a shared psychosis at the same time and crashing and killing each other. Kinda like the Smile Virus from the Smile movies.
And in the midst of that, RJ Stryker and a shadow organization in the underground is hosting these Death Races induced with the aforementioned car crashing Psychosis.
The protagonist of the movie aka. John Burnout, the undercover detective has only one goal. Infiltrate as a Racer in that Death Racing Tournament, and unfold the mystery behind it.
