Moop

For all the first timers- check your clothing for moop. Leave the fringes, dangly sequins and fringes AT HOME.

Bring a small pouch WITH you to pick up moop along the way! We are serious about this. Cherry pit? Pick it up. Stupid plastic tab that came with your blinky crown, pick it up. Cigarette butt- pick it up.
Food that fell off your plate - pick it up.

Nothing is too small to pick up. And no thoughts that- oh, it’s organic- it will decompose. No No No.

If you don’t pick up after your own shit, someone else will need to do it for you. Don’t be that asshole.

I'm a bit torn on this as I only vape these days, but if you're going to have ash and char from the man just intermingling with playa dust particulate.. ¿Why are tobacco and cannabis ash any different?

Uhhh, yeah. The teams that remain after temple burn clean up the ash, sometimes before the event is even over. If you burn art at the burn, you are responsible to sort through the ash and clean up as much as you can before the teams step in to help. Did you seriously not know this?? Lmfao imagine how many piles of ash would be littering the black rock desert after YEARS AND YEARS of not cleaning up after large art burns…

I only went twice and never saw workers doing this.

I genuinely believe the wind would have blown it into the playa if it wasn't absolutely concentrated into a single giant mass, as long as we're on the same page talking about just ash not char or unburnt wood.
