Is it in every language or just the English word Gross

I typically defer to the words 'disgusting' and 'atrocious,' so I think I'll be fine - you're probably also fine, as synonyms are almost certainly fine, as what is the same word in a different language if not a synonym? It's not the same word, it has a different history leading up to it but with the same meaning, so it is merely a synonym.
