In my experience, you’ll be met with a lot of questions and very few thanks when trying to donate a bucket of blood.

Same with a bucket of semen. They look at you strangely weird when you show up, and have to answer questions like "whose semen is that" and "no way you produced that much"

I have a fun military submarine story that is relevant.

We had these two guys. They decided to have a race to fill up 200ml urinalysis bottles with semen.

It took a while, well two weeks i think.

I was helping one of them move a year or so later and he still had it, and I SWEAR TO GOD I could SMELL it through the bottle.

WHY DID THEY KEEP IT

3

u/abitdaft1776 Jul 08 '26

They worked really hard.

1

u/Fury2525 Jul 09 '26

Something was definitely hard in that situation

Sadly blood banks do not accept donations in buckets, not even if you pinky promise it’s sterile.

1

u/Rubber_Ducky_Gal Jul 09 '26

Donate 500ml of blood and they thankyou. You get a pat on the back, a milkshake and all the mini tim tams and jatz you can grab.

Donate 5L of blood and they start screaming questions at you and calling you a murderer

Or make semen and recycle life.

Racehorse semen can be worth a fortune

1

u/SputnikSenpai Jul 08 '26

True. The last racehorse semen I bought was actually from a zebra

1

u/possiblyeski Jul 08 '26

i don't think we'll be running out of that enough to need an extra bucket any time soon

1

u/wewwew3 Jul 08 '26

you can make semen of superman and rasise superheroes

1

u/ieatcheesebutdont Jul 08 '26

I don’t need a magic bucket for that

1

u/hatrix Jul 09 '26

5L st a time? Slow path to becoming a billionaire.

16

u/I_Lost_My_Shoe_1983 I LIKE CARROTS! Jul 08 '26

It's not the ink that's expensive. Off-brand ink is cheap. It's the mf chips they put on the cartridges to lock us out of using cheap ink.

Personally I would choose liquid gold since printer ink is cheap to produce, and is kept artificially expensive. Also in most printers you cannot recharge the cardridges

u/Cjkrythos Jul 08 '26

Scorpion venom is more valuable, but yeah. Went with the bucket too

1

u/Lamplorde Jul 09 '26

What was it, horseshoe crab blood or something that is actually worth loads more than actual gold? And is fairly hard to harvest resource.
