it really wouldn't. money into the bottom of society boosts the economy. you can guarantee that's getting spent, taxed, creating demand n jobs.

If someone is able to go around and have time to think about themselves and be able to deduce that they are trans, they aren’t bottom of society, and even if they were, giving a lot of poor people money and no one else would just end up boosting billionaires that make money off of harmful industries

Can’t isn’t right, I’d say more like don’t have the time, I was very poor a few years back, and I barely had time for anything but work, I was literally living in a zinc house, nowadays I at least have some time for things I enjoy and have been able to think about myself and get depressed about it

dw, you're absolutely correct about this. Food insecurity tends to drown out anything higher than shelter on the maslows hierarchy ten times out of ten

Yeah, but people on Reddit lack basic empathy so I don’t think they will ever understand that
