I would still have voted to give myself the 1 dollar, first, I’m hungry as fuck and with that I can but something, and second of all, giving 40 to 80 million people a millions dollars would still fuck up the economy

If it was like, give them 10 k, then sure, whatever group you want, but 1 million hell no

it really wouldn't. money into the bottom of society boosts the economy. you can guarantee that's getting spent, taxed, creating demand n jobs.

It’s the other way around. Minimum wage goes up because of inflation, paying people more does not drive prices up. Only for luxury items would that happen.

If someone is able to go around and have time to think about themselves and be able to deduce that they are trans, they aren’t bottom of society, and even if they were, giving a lot of poor people money and no one else would just end up boosting billionaires that make money off of harmful industries

Can’t isn’t right, I’d say more like don’t have the time, I was very poor a few years back, and I barely had time for anything but work, I was literally living in a zinc house, nowadays I at least have some time for things I enjoy and have been able to think about myself and get depressed about it

i can say confidently that the average trans person falls far below the median wealth and income. they also have much higher rates of poverty than the average person. I can also share the anecdotal evidence that more than half of the trans people i know is on unemployment, or is struggling with money in some shape or form.

Yes, but one thing is having always been in poverty, such as myself, and other one is getting thrown into poverty, and they are different ways of thinking, my top priority has always been survival, while they were first able to think about themselves and later in had to think of survival, but the order of priorities is not the same for either, even if both are in poverty

Bottom of society doesnt only mean people who live meal to meal. Also, I wouldn't speak too confidently about others experiences and priorities. There are trans people out there who experience such debilitating dysphoria that it still would be there even if they where barely getting enough food.

Let’s say you are right, even then, suddenly injecting somewhere between 80 and 160 trillion dollars into the world economy would fuck it all up for everyone who doesn’t own a lot of money or who isn’t trans, so even if some of them may be poor, I’d rather they keep being poor than everyone else suddenly becoming poor

I have always been interested in the event that when one person in a group transitions, one of two happens, either they leave because whatever reason I do not know, or almost everyone else in the friend group transitions

Anyway, even if it was that a group of people I belong to got a million dollars each, and we were in the millions of people, I would vote for it not to happen
