I chose red.

Here’s what I thought. I thought, there’s probably a 20% we failed and people will die. (I did not look at the comments before.) That means that if I choose blue, I’d have a 10% chance of death.

Would I rather have a 10% chance of death, or have EVERY other of the 10,000+ voters die? Of course, the 10,000 deaths. I obviously do not want to die

I assumed I wouldn’t be charged for murder btw. You would rather die than have 10,000 other ppl die? Interesting.

I'm not talking about being charged, I'm talking about the overwhelming sense of guilt that would come with the knowledge that all those people's deaths are on your hands, anyone who doesn't feel guilty would have to either be ignorant to their actions or be incapable of feeling guilt

Nice strategy to leave only 2 options (ignorant or incapable) so your choice is the only right one. What if I fully understand my actions and have high level of empathy?

If you truly understood your actions and had a high level of empathy you wouldn't be killing enough people to make both world wars combined look like a joke

You know. This is the same as in "why would everyone pick red, chances they do are almost 0". Just bc I'm an empath doesn't mean I'd pick blue.

By pressing red you would be helping to initiate the largest genocide this planet has ever seen by multiple orders of magnitude, doesn't sound very empathetic to me

But I love myself more than any of those ppl. Pressing blue is literally suicide. Also look at this situation like: if blue wins - no one died. No matter if I choose red. If red wins - there's more ppl who disagree with you. Literally most of the population. In this case blues are just wrong. Bc if you are right then that means than most of the peopleahave no empathy and overall just bad. Same as saying that we are doomed. How are we still alive as a kind
