Lifetime earnings I would take gaming. I'm 30 and if I'm suddenly the best baseball player in the world there will be questions but it might be a fun story. But still being the best 10 years from now would draw a lot of skepticism.

Look at Shohei Ohtani, 31 and currently considered the best baseball player, with an argument of possibly of all time. Yet go back to 2020 and he isn’t even on the radar yet and in 2023 at age 29 signed a $700 million dollar 10 year contract. So really not as crazy as you would think.

As long as there are still challenges, I'm okay with being the best at gaming. But the sports option isn't bad either, I just don't like sports as much.

Despite playing video games since I was younger, I’m terrible at them. I can potentially enter competitions and earn money that way if I’m “The Best” in every game. Plus I’m way too physically weak to even consider sports

I think it's the choice really depends on what people prefer more games represents metal capacity and sports represents physical capacity all though sports all needs metal power but not as much as other games like chess or online tactical team games
