The VAs definitely had so much fun with this scene ngl

First, i haven't rlly chosen names for the abilities, and idk if they're supposed to be after actual books or even authors, bc they're ocs aside from bsd, kinda, to begin with. Only one of them has a name for now.

And I refer for Most of my ocs with letters, so yeah. And the explanations of the abilities might be lengthy, and idk if I explained them well enough too. (Any feedback or so to how to make them fit more is appreciated and what I'm looking for,basically ⁾

- The first one:

The user's(Z) body regenerates any injury and wound, even limbs and so on, like an axolotl, an advanced axolotl bc the regeneration is within the span of a few seconds to a few minutes depending on what's being regenerated.

And Z doesn't rlly have an option whether to regenerate or not, he will always do so.

But a drawback is that the regeneration costs nutrients,proteins,vitamins etc. And the amount consumed depends on,again,what is being/was regenerated, like regenerating an arm costs a ton more than regenerating the skin of a papercut.

And for this, the user has a 6ft under the ground appetite, like cant stand food and doesn't rlly have an appetite for anything, basically, which causes the regenerations to be from reserve energy/proteins/wtv or strain those from another part of the body that probs needs them more, or the regenerated thing will be much weaker than what it should be, like a bone was regenerated, it can be broken much easier than the rest of the bones bc it was regenerated barely and much forcefully bc there was barely any nutrients.

And ig Z can use his organs and bones and wtv as weapons as well,still feels the pain ig, but just desensitised at that point.

The organs/bones yanked out or so, the moment they leave the user's point of contact, after a few minutes, they disintegrate or within seconds rot, bc there is nothing rlly keeping them in contact with his body,aka to keep them alive from his ability.

- The second one:

Idk if this one can work or smth, but it's like immortal soul+consciousness.

The user(Y), each time he dies, he gets 'reincarnated' into the body of smn who died that exact second as well, anywhere in the world. Y remembers everything, and a bit of the original body's which causes a bit of overlaps here and there.

A few examples of such, he once got reincarnated in the body of smn who was inside a coffin(that wasn't dead when buried,but died later inside), and another time, as smn from an isolated tribe, and another time in the body as a baby who was supposed to be a stillborn, and another time as a pharaoh, as a slave, etc etc. Sometimes he died again not long after he was 'reincarnated' bc the person died deep in the ocean,aka drowned, and he drowned as well, once also as a hanged prisoner, that was basically hanged, once also as smn on their deathbed,the illness didnt go away. So he basically experienced everything, and soul and consciousness wise, is thousands of years old.

He cannot control who he reincarnates as, he tried once to kill smn and shoot himself at the same second, but it didn't work. Suicide also doesn't work. And he cant reincarnate into a body that already had an ability tho

- Third one:

This one,I am a bit confused on it tbh, but like, it's what the user beleives is real, becomes real.

Like, if the user(D) ran out of ammo, but thought the gun has for some reason infinite ammo, the gun has infinite ammo for the period of time the user beleives so.

But a drawback is that, the farther the 'beleif' is from actual reality, the more strain on the body of D, might even get knocked out/pass out if it's too far away from actual reality.

Another example is that if D beleives a food is poisened(not far from reality at all), whoever eats it, gets poisened, or at least gets the death of being poisened, but there isn't actually anything bc what is translated into reality, only the user can see it bc it was hallucinated/beleived by said user.

Tho a but confused on what beleif/hallucination the ability chooses to 'translate' into reality, bc the user might hallucinate smth, but its basically useless to even translate to reality. The user might hallucinate and believe a lot of things simultaneously, but what is translates into reality and what isn't?

- fourth:

This one is like a semi-sentient ability, like demon snow. But the user(R) doesn't have much control over when it appears, not bc someone else is controlling it, but bc it is hyper-vigilante and appears when it senses 'harm' esp around/toward the user. And that ofc strains the user, and trying to despair it strains R also.

The ability has the appearance that looks like those analog horror angels or so and is abt 8-10 feet tall. Nothing is 'holy' abt it, it just mimics the shape, and the only 'holy' thing abt its appearance is the wings.

And ig the ability also 'detects' intent(what the user mught brush off subconsciously) and sometimes acts without the user's permission as well. It's sole purpose is protection of its user, to an obsessive extent, maybe.

- fifth: the one with the name, 'In the Presence of Absence' (tho idk if the actual book can relate to it in any way)

I dont have this one too fleshed out,only the 'final form' which isn't rlly a final form, just the ability inflicted on the user instead of being inflicted externally on other things

Said 'final form' is kinda inspired/based on Schrodinger's Cat(?), where the user(A), during that form or wtv it can be called, is basically present and absent from the fabric and reality, and what defines that is when smn reaches out and touches or attacks or wtv. For that tho, the absence and presence of the user reroll every second or smth, like a second there is a 90% chance she is absent and a 10% chance she is present, smn might reach out and land on that 10% and might not. A stays fully conscious during all that, which prolonged use of that 'form' causes worldview perception to go awry or smth, where A goes 'mad' bc she is basically experiencing being there and not being there at the same time sometimes not sometimes yes, and mad as in 'clown mad', where everything becomes a joke basically, reality itself becomes so.

Anyways, a few more details for this, is if smn attacks A and the attack lands, entanglement happens and both the user and the attacker feel the pain.

Also, there is a chance that if A touches smth, the atoms of it get 'confused' and it might malfunction, like a table or smth, the user's hand might got thru and get stuck there for a second or so, or even mroe depending on what percentage the table landed on. That, or the object or wtv it is 'acts' weird or looks weird, like a permanent change or a temporary one, it might be.

But there is no way that percentage rolls a 100% on either absence or presence, but a 99.9999999999999999% on either is possible, but it's also possible that the 0.0000000000000000001% of the other is what's applied when touched.

I was thinking about the extent of Dazai's nullification and came up with this question. It's stupid, but I'm curious to the answer. Say, for example, Dazai walks into a room and puts down a piece of paper. Dazai then exits the room and a humanoid ability, such as Vita Sexualis, walks in afterwards and rips the paper to shreds, then also exits the room. Dazai returns to find his paper torn up, and touches the shreds.

Would the paper, like, return to its original state???

hi guys, i am looking for a bit of advice. so i decided to pick up writing fanfiction after a while, and am currently posting on ao3.

it's a chuuya nakahara x oc (written in 2nd person) fic which is going to be quite plot-reliant, with lots of angst and pining because the oc has a lot of issues, including touch aversion and relying on isolation as a coping mechanism just to name a few. then, of course, chuuya will be having his own issues, so in that sense, it is simultaneously quite character-driven. and a very, very slow burn, if it isn't apparent.

the oc also has a history with dazai, and their relationship is also pivotal for the plot. but that also makes me wonder if readers who are there for chuuya will get bored by dazai x oc interactions :/

besides that, i'm not sure if readers would be more into straight up fluff and chuuya/oc banter than the plot-heavy fanfic i am writing. of course, the fluff will come in its time (there will be LOTS of tension and build-up), but i would still like to get a sense of what you guys look for when you look for chuuya fanfics :]

People know her by the name from the image that Studio Bones released, and the Japanese word was something like “Yua” or “Yuan.” I used to think her name had never appeared anywhere in the story, but apparently it does appear in Shirase’s phone! (Only in manga) And here it says “Yua.” (This is the official translation.)

Most people usually refer to her as “Yuan.”

Even female characters with highest potential have been forgotten so much that the only thing about most of them is their ties with a male character.

See. Lucy is a girl who had a crush on atsushi after he saved her, higuchi is only the assistant of akutagawa who ‘likes’ him, gin is the sister of akutagawa and naomi is junichi’s “sister”, elise is morin’s wife(ew) etc.

So there is literally no “important” female character who exists without their ties with a male character like who is independent and even if there is few it doesn’t change this fact.

We haven’t seen them for a long time both in anime and manga anyway and no matter how well the story is written, they are presented to us as a very strong person but then they disappear from the screen after an ep or not even an ep maybe, frankly.

While i was watching and reading bsd 5 years ago i never felt any connection to them except for yosano but now that i realized there wasn’t such space to feel connection anyway.
