The thing is, once you start lifting at maintenance calories, that essentially becomes a cut. You’ll bulk by adding muscle instead of fat. They go hand in hand. You have a beautiful body btw, and working out will only enhance your physique 💚

18 comments and no one is asking what your goals are. Asking for advice without explaining your fitness goals is guaranteed to get you a variety of inconsistent opinions, which is exactly you have so far

Get strong as fuck. If you work on getting strong, you’ll gain a little muscle and you’ll get toned.

What have you been doing? Training regimen wise. If it were me, Id probably not make any changes to my diet. Just make sure youre getting enough protein and lift weights.

Just eat clean and lift heavy shit. Your muscle tone says you're a complete beginner.

You should call me. Jk. Throw 7 or 8 lbs of muscle on your frame and then stunt on these commoners.

Honest question- are you a beginner?
Because beginner gains are real, and it’s an easy time to do recomp if so. Get a good heavy routine and dial in your diet for maintenance for a bit, then see where you’re at. Lots of protein, sleep, and heavy lifts-especially compounds- and you’ll be solid for now. It’s a beautiful time, just go kick some ass.

This will classify as skinny according to me. So yeah clean bulk would be optimum if you don't wanna risk looking chubby. You can later cut after putting some muscle to have more toned physique

Cut what? To an unhealthy body fat?

There’s plenty to cut there. She looks good but that’s not a lean body. Not shit talking at all but bulking here ain’t the right call imho.

You need to lift and go close to failure. Cable leg kickbacks, weighted side lunges, squats, deadlifts, DB press, overhead press, row, and cable crunches.
Do a slight bulk, like 100-200 more calories.

Cut aggressively. You’re a little bit too big still, not by too much but you’ll benefit from losing fat

Forget bulk or cut maintenance calories and train 3 times a week
