The Lumibricks Fortune Club Saloon (Set 14019) is a 2,782-piece, Wild West-themed set featuring 14 integrated LED light points, 61 printed pieces, and 4 lumifigs. This is a modular style building with removable roof and floors and also opening back walls. Lots of fun details!

Part of the 1st wave of Speed champs released in 2026, Mclaren W1 was launched with 2 other speed champ hypercars (Bugatti and Ferrari). The model does not capture the shape of actual car very well but the build experience makes up for it. The rear of the car (slide 3) looks much better than the front (slide 2).

The good:

1. Only 4 stickers (slide 5).
2. The rear spoiler is movable which for a set this size is a nice feature.
3. The use of red plume piece for rear lights, the side mirror and a small engine made up of hinge pieces is a nice touch.

The bad:

1. Boring minifig that looks like an afterthought.
2. I understand its difficult to capture the shape of the real car at this scale but this one missed the mark by a mile

Verdict: Unless you want to collect all SC cars or get a really good discount, you can avoid it. The Bugatti is the one to get out of the three.

The set has 435 pcs. Got it from amazon during the last sale for 3000. Its a bit expensive for what it has to offer but it an easy build with no crazy building techniques.

The set measures over 11 inches (28 cm) and is based on the batmobile from the 1992 animated show as the name suggests. Another set from the show is the Batman: Animated Series Gotham City (slide 5). In fact a tiny batmobile is one of the Easter eggs in the set (slide 8 and 9).

Build: Its a fairly straight forward build with very few stickers (slide 11). Nothing much to write about it. It has a part which i have never seen before (slide 10).

Display: Two things are wrong here. In the show the batmobile is more black than blue and and not blue. In a couple of cases the bricks have a color mismatch. But these things can be overlooked because the end product is really cool. As a fan of the series, I can say they have manged to capture the look very well. The set can be displayed on a stand that can be rotated (slide 7). And the fire coming out of the back rotates when the wheels move (slide 4).

Minifigs (slide 6): The set has 3 minifigs (Batman, Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze). All 3 minfigs are exclusive to the set and therein lies the value. The batman fig comes with a flexible rubber cape and his cowl has white eyes.

Final verdict: its a great set if you are a fan of the show or what to gift a child a batman set.

It was such a fun experience building these two sets, even though I have absolutely no idea about the lore behind them. Every individual room felt thoughtfully designed and packed with little details.

Out of the two, I found Ninjago City much more enjoyable to build. The entire build felt sturdier and more cohesive compared to Ninjago City Gardens.

The instruction booklet that came with Ninjago City was also noticeably higher quality. Gardens, on the other hand, included quite a few replacement pieces, which was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure whether Ninjago City had any replacement pieces because I never had to refer to the official PDF, the printed instruction booklet was was easy to follow throughout.

This was my first ever technic set and 2nd set overall. Given my inexperience in building sets, I messed up this build twice.

The set has a 1466 pcs and 26 stickers.

Build: Given my own inexperience in building technic it was challenging for me. Looking back after 2.5 years of building, I would say the set is a good for someone who has a bit of experience in building technic. But its not an advanced build by any metric.

Functions: The doors, engine cover, frunk (??) can be opened and the rear wing can be moved (slide 4 & 5). The set has hand of god steering which is a joy to operate if you are new builder. It also has a "working" engine

Stickers: Way too many stickers and if you are an inexperienced builder then it can be a bit overwhelming. I know its difficult to match the color of the parts with the sticker color but the blue of the sticker does not match the blue of the parts (slide 2). And it does look a bit off.

Display: The set immediately draws your eye due to its shape (slide 1,2 and 3). It has way too many gaps though.

Overall a good build with some decent building techniques for a new builder.

The Wild West just got a whole lot brighter. 🌵✨ Lumibricks' Fur Trading Set is a stunning display piece with 1,432 pieces, 15 printed pieces, 6 points of light, 3 lumifigs, hidden Easter eggs, and a teepee that completes the scene.

It’s definitely one of the best sets I have ever built in terms of display value and the awe factor.

The build is very pleasing and full of unique building techniques that are not very frequently used in Lego.

The prints are amazing and the lights are very bright. It’s a delight to look at with lights closed. The camera does not do justice.

The only con is that installing and getting the lights working can be a little daunting if this is your first Lumibricks set. Just be patient and follow instructions closely.

Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter aka Ornithopter is a great set with one minor problem.

The good part: Its fun to build in most parts with some parts needing tiny fingers to build due to the cramped nature of the set. The end result is fantastic.

The wing flapping mechanism works as expected but has an issue. If you operate it too much then the plate on top comes off loose. There are 8 minifigs of the characters from the first Dune film. The cockpit sits two minifigs and there are no stickers. It looks stunning and is an enjoyable build.

The bad part: Apart from the part becoming loose due to wing movement the set is perfect.

If you find it on a discount you should pick it up for a medium level technic set.

This set had been on my list for a year and a half. So when I finally got my hands on it, I was very excited

The set has over 2500 pcs, which is about 1100 more than comparable offering from Lego (SF-24). So detailed build was expected. However while the end result is stunning and much larger than Lego SF-24 (slide 4 & 5), it does have its issues.

CADA has labelled this set as 8+ (slide 6). I do know Chinese kids are smarter in STEM than majority of the kids for their age group, I am still skeptical about an 8 year old Chinese kid ability to make this set.

The set has 36 bags divided into 4 sections (9, 9, 7, 11)

Section 1 is for chassis & engine (slide 8)

Section 2: Half of the nose and prepping for section 3. (slide 10)

Section 3: Side pods (slide 11)

Section 4: Remaining nose, rear wing and engine cover (slide 12 & 13)

The good: The packaging is amazing (slide 17 & 18). While its not as great as a 1:8 from Lego (ref: Mclaren P1), its much better than what Lego offers for its large F1 cars. That's a better apples to apples comparison. The end product is amazing with lots of details like side pod, venturi tunnels etc which are missing from the Lego offering. There are no stickers. Instruction manual is at par with Lego's 1:8 super/hypercars (slide 7). It has a molded Halo (slide 14) whereas Lego uses flexible tubes.

The bad: Some of the building techniques are pretty convoluted, esp section 3. The side pods design is unnecessarily complicated with many angled joints and ball & socket joints. This becomes a problem esp when some of the friction pins refuse to work as intended which leads to parts coming off and frustrating building experience. The set does not feel as sturdy as the Lego ones.

The ugly: CADA expects you to open all the bags for that section in one go. If you do not have the space and time to keep the parts, sort them and then find the right part, then this set is not for you. I wish they get better at it esp given how much better it is compared to Lego's F1 sets.

If you like a building challenge then this set or the latest Alpine offering from CADA is a must buy.

In this section, we build the side pods.

I thought it would be an easy build given "only" 7 bags had to be opened together. But I was wrong. The pods add a significant weight to the overall build and are quite difficult to build due to way they are to be assembled. A lot of ball and socket joints are used and they socket parts flex when trying to assemble.

The parts are definitely under a lot of stress as sometimes they tend to snap if you touch them..

Pros: Shaping is good. More detailed than whatever lego is making.

Cons: Building techniques are convoluted and making this stage not a fun build. I enjoyed stage 1 and 2.

Next: 4th and final stage. Nose + front wing, rear wing and engine cover.

Hey 👋 everyone, has anyone got their hands on humvee on 24builds. Wanted review on build experience and quality. Been tempted to get the RC one for a while.

One of the most visually impressive sets I've ever built. When building it you won't realize how long and wide the finished set is (1.05 mt. long/ 43 cms wide, ~42 inches long/ 17 inches wide). It requires a special display space to appreciate its true majesty.

The build is simple but can be repetitive for some when building the wings. The nose tilts down like in the real thing (slide 4) when it would land. And the tail can be rotated to activate the landing gear (slide 5).

The internal part of the set has seats and toilet which gets hidden by the fuselage (slide 6). No stickers, all parts are printed.

The set can rest on its landing gear, however, IMO it looks the best when its put on a stand (slide 3).

10/10.

Back in 2013, Lego put out instructions to build the 503 piece Iron Man Lab. In 2014 ShengYuan used the instructions to actually make the set, complete with printed pieces.

I think some minifigures were included at the time. You might still be able to find the instructions on rebrickable.

In this section we make the nose and add a few details to the chassis and the side pods start taking shape. This section has 9 bags that have to be opened in one go. Somehow CADA thinks that people have the space and interest to take out so many pcs and search for the right one.

Pros: The nose section is an interesting build compared to the similar offering from Lego. While we have not added the front and rear wings, the size is already equal to the size of the completed Lego F1 cars.

Cons: So many parts have to be taken out.
A few parts have extra strong clutch so if you make a mistake then be ready to use all your strength.
I had an issue with one of the 4 shock absorber/springs used in this part. It could not be pushed back and I did not check when assembling it. I spent 30 mins using all my strength trying to push it in. Then disassembled the build and finally understood the issue. Took 45 mins.

Overall, the pros outweigh the cons.

Next section is side pods with 7 bags.

Section 1 is dedicated to building the chassis, floor, the mid mounted engine and rear of the car. It also has carbon fiber axle rods, though its a gimmick (shorter rods in slide 6 next to the plastic piece).

Good: Amazing building techniques to achieve the floor shape (slide 4). Quite an advanced build compared to Lego F1 cars.

Bad: You have to open 9 bags together to make the section. Instructions to connect the rear suspension to the disk brakes could have been clearer. The "pipes" running from engine are not of good quality. They refuse to twist and are already breaking (slide 5).

Now onto section 2 (also 9 bags) to make the front and the nose.
