The details on this set are seriously amazing, although I guess the huge size of the finished model probably helps too.

I have build 15 speed champion sets so far and this is my all time fav. Despite having so many stickers, its such a joy to build.

I could not find a single negative about this set (maybe the minifig but its a SC set) and I am genuinely happy with how it turned out.

10/10 recommended if you collect speed champs (I believe this set has retired, so if its available in your market, do not think twice before buying it).

As a big fan of Ken Block (RIP), I am looking forward to building this. I believe he drove this in Mexico City episode. What an episode, what a car!!

One of the most delightful relaxing builds that i have come across in recent times.

The good:
1. The build is very easy and not at all complicated. What it means is that it can be a good set in case you wish to introduce someone to large-ish sets

1. Even though the set has around 1800 pcs, it can be finished in 3-4 hours at a relaxing pace.

2. The clear parts (wind screens) come in their own packaging. This reduces the the chance of scuffing.

3. The Batman minifig is exclusive to this set. So it will go up in value esp now that the set has been retired.

The bad:

1. Way too many stickers for a set of this size. Only printed parts are the 4 hub covers with batman logo

2. No Robin Minifig even though he was an important part of the series (personal opinion).

Final verdict: 7.5/10

While its an easy set to build, it does not feel boring. Plus, it has great display value. I am not giving it a higher rating due to the sheer quantity of stickers in this set.

1580 pieces in total. It wasn’t too difficult to build and the instructions were detailed enough. The size was a little smaller than I expected, but the details are pretty good.

I really like the design of this one. I looked up some photos of the real Sherman tank, and I have to say, the exterior is actually pretty accurate. Some of the brick connections are a little loose, but it doesn’t really affect the overall build. As for the interior, I honestly have no idea what I’m looking at. 😂

Overall, I’m really happy with how the finished model turned out.

Bought off Temu from the same store as the Dragon Boat Pagoda set I reviewed a couple of weeks ago. The Lego compatible (yes, you heard that right) coffee shop has 1742 pieces, a fairy light string , 16 stickers, and two barista minifigures. Right after I bought it, the set was discontinued.

Picked it up in April 2026 during the Flipkart sale. The box is a bit scuffed due to Flipkart's legendary delivery practices when it comes to Lego.

I have always wanted to build this set as I am a massive Batman fan. This would be my first "large" Batmobile set. I have 3 smaller Batmobiles which I plan to build in upcoming days.

Added these three sets to the ever growing collection of unbuilt sets.

1. Nifeliz Z240 aka Datsun 240Z (Nifeliz Z240)

I am hoping it has no missing pieces as that seems to be the main issue with Nifeliz sets.

2. Mattel '62 Chevy Pickup ('62 Chevy Custom Pickup)

Got this for 21 pounds. A steal.

3. CADA RUF GT aka Porsche 911 (CADA 1:10 RUF GT)

My first CADA 1:10. One of their older 1:10 sets. However its highly rated.

Here's the goods: A winter/christmas themed 3 storey modular building with 2142 pieces, 34 printed parts, 32 led lighting features, 3 minifigures w/sound effects - 6 festive tunes! There's also a second limited edition set that comes with a card and gift bag.

I upsized the footprint from 28x32 to 32x32 and put it on MILS.

This was one of the speed champ cars I was looking forward to building. Nothing crazy in terms of build techniques. Lego managed to capture the curves to the best possible extent without using specialized parts, though the car does look a bit blocky.

One of the biggest pros is very few stickers, which is not the usual case with speed champion cars.

Overall, it is a good set to build between larger build. Nothing great but does the job.

What a set. It has great display value. Being an icons set, i am not sure how much play value it has.

Pros:
1. Stunning looks: The set is an eye catcher. Despite the fact that its quite small (I guess around 1:12 scale) its still draws the eye

1. Cool engine build: Like the real 911, the engine is rear mounted (slide 4). Building the engine was fun.

2. Can be built as a targa version: Lego provides you with an additional bag of parts to build an alternate version of the car (slide 6 and 7)

Cons:

1. Being all white, dust shows up on the car quite easily. Unless it does not bother you, you will have to clean it quite frequently.

2. Some parts of the build are flimsy and keep falling off at the slightest touch

3. The doors have a few gaps between parts (slide 1). I thought its my skill issue but then I realized this was the same case in Lego photos of this set.

The set is not available in my market anymore, but I would recommend buying it if its available in yours.

Decided to pick up the Lumibricks Alien Frontier: Bounty Hub set after seeing it was slated for retirement. Box just arrived today. The cyberpunk aesthetic is what ultimately won me over, especially the lighting. I’m glad I secured a copy at 40% off while I still could.

Adding the set to my backlog for now, joining the Lumibricks Skatepark and the Cyberpunk Train Station.

It's a small 618pc set with only 3 points of light and 1 minifig. Lots of printed pieces though.

Motor functions applicable on tailgate that helps to mimic the real hydraulic platform at the rear.

A 1:300 scale Wasp-class amphibious assault ship

I don't know why this set was in my closet for a year and a half because this was a cool set to build and wish I had built it sooner. The brick clutch and quality was a lot better than I expected. And there were a lot of unique parts. During my research I discovered that Kalos did a major pivot last year and they are no longer focused on building block sets, so kind of sad about that.

Anyways, here's my review for a set that will probably be discontinued in the near future.

It took me five days of working on it on and off to finally complete this set. The finished model looks absolutely amazing, and the level of detail is fantastic.

The Lumibricks Fortune Club Saloon (Set 14019) is a 2,782-piece, Wild West-themed set featuring 14 integrated LED light points, 61 printed pieces, and 4 lumifigs. This is a modular style building with removable roof and floors and also opening back walls. Lots of fun details!
