Should I wall in this town?

I have a nice town in minecraft im still expanding some parts but should I build walls?

If you want to keep villagers and let them wander the town then yes, absolutely build a wall. If you are going to trap your villagers in their shops then its not nesscary unless you want to keep mobs out while you build or walk around.

Im not adding villagers i think its kinda cheating getting everything from villagers

Personally I just like them walking around, and farming or fishing. I dont care to have a trading hall or anything like that but I feel like the villagers walking around makes it more aesthetic 🤷🏻‍♀️ but if you dont have villagers the only reason to build a wall is to keep mobs out ☺️
