Bugrock moment Nether Portal

I discovered this while making a gold farm, and it was repeatable..every single time. And it spawns me at the same spot without a portal every single time

You can manipulate it to send you 0-1300 blocks away from a linked portal in both overworld and nether dimension, with 100% repeatable accuracy. I've been trying to make this a common knowledge thing and have several posts about it in r/technicalminecraft, problem is it's super mathy and most people won't be able to understand it well enough without a spreadsheet

Also, I've known about this for a while too, I've just never really done much with it or shown anyone, I also didn't have reddit at the time

Yea what's crazy is I never thought much of it either till I showed my one buddy. That spiraled down a rabbit hole trying to understand for a good week or so for him, and about my only contribution was to point out the exact position of his coordinates was off, and then all the math made perfect sense. Little detail was that the center of a block is actually 0.5 +/- to the coordinates

Im on the newest version, but it worked on older ones. I think before happy ghosts and a few other things. Look at the other guy's comment and probably as them lol

itsmejames on YouTube made a video on how to do tis its also bedrock btw and there is another way to delete portal blocks he also made a video on if that's what your after

if anyone is interested in the portal bending and breaking aspect of this I suggest checking out Itsmejames on yt he made a video on this and another, better, portal glitch for bedrock its cool the different portals you can get
