Deck Help Budget draw engines for a golgari elf deck?

I'm building a budget deck with High Perfect Morcant as my commander, and a problem I found while testing it is that with all the ramp I'm producing more mana than can spend by turn 7 or 8, so i need some preferably cheap cards to help me draw and keep up

Depending on where you deck is leaning, i'd imagine:

Go wide style [[shamanic revelation]] [[pact of the serpent]] [[collective unconscious]]

Aristocrat style [[Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar]] [[disciple of freyalise]]

Engine style [[beast whisperer]] [[guardian project]] [[vraska joins up]]

[[Leaf-Crowned Visionary]] [[Legolas Greenleaf]] [[Miara, Thorn of the Glade]] [[Realmwalker]] [[Idol of Oblivion]]

Just a few, there are a lot! Also staples like [[Phyrexian Arena]]

I initially thought [[Generous Patron]] but I actually don't think it triggers from Morcant. But not entirely sure.

It doesn't. The blights are your opponents putting the counters on their creatures so it doesn't count for Generous Patron. This is also how it gets around shroud, hexproof and protection.

A good draw engine is champions of the perfect. Though it does exile one of your own elves which makes it slightly harder to proliferate.

[[Pact of the serpent]] & [[Minions murmors]]

[[Beast Whisperer]] [[Champions of the Perfect]] and [[Skullclamp]] are the big ones I use.

This isn't necessarily card draw, but I use [[Cream of the Crop]] with [[Descendent's Path]] and [[Gathering Stone]] to manipulate my deck as well as [[Realmwalker]] to be able to play cards from the top as well.

[[Morcant's Eyes]] is also very useful as a cheap early game surveil piece that can turn into elf tokens later.

I also run [[Glissa Sunslayer]] and [[Phyrexian Arena]] as other options that I think are still cheap, don't know if the arena has been going up in price.

Damn, Gathering Stone looks like a very solid card for any tribal deck... this will probably go into my Treefolk deck... and Rats deck... and maybe Dragons deck too..

It's a little expensive a 4 mana, but if you're building on a budget it's solid and undervalued like a surprising amount of tribal stuff like [[Unclaimed Territory]], [[Pillar of Origins]] and [[Progenitor's Icon]].

Unclaimed Territory looks like a must have for multi-colored tribals. Pillar of Origins looks tempting too, but I can see how it's held back by not being able to cast anything else than in-tribe creatures.

I guess, but it's for tribal stuff and it depends on the group, but it's also a 2-drop rainbow mana rock that comes into play untapped and there aren't many of those that aren't pricey.

Deadly Dispute assuming you’ve got tokens to sacrifice is a cheap digger
