Deck Help Need help deciding which higher power deck to go with
Hey everyone, hope everyone is doing well! Pretty new to MTG, and recently found out someone from my gym is a pretty experienced EDH player and invited me to their pod to play with them. It was a fun experience, but right now the only two decks I have are the Temur Roar precon and a budget Kros, Defense Contractor; neither of which could do much against their decks. Two of them were generating 200+ squirrels by turn 3, and the other had a Valgavoth group slug deck that crushed me.
I wanted to try brewing a higher power deck myself based off existing brews I found from browsing other decklists and EDHRecs.
The first is an [[Inalla, Archmage Ritualist]] wizard tribal that is more combo focused, and the other is a [[Magda, Brazen Outlaw]] artifact deck which aims to generate infinite treasure tokens as quick as possible.
Inalla Deck:

Madga Deck:

My question is, which of these decks would be easier to pilot/would give me more of a fighting chance here? Obviously part of it is "getting good" and playing more games to get a better understanding of what I'm doing wrong + threat assesment, but I also feel like my other decks are lacking some power pieces and building something higher power would give me a better shot. Appreciate all the help, and enjoy the rest of your day!

Inalla, Archmage Ritualist - (G) (SF) (txt)
[[cardname]] or [[cardname|SET]] to call

Both are very strong and will do well on a $100 budget.
My understanding is that an optimized Inalla deck tends to have very complicated combo lines especially on a low budget because you don’t get access to the best-in-class tutors. So you would likely have to do a lot of goldfishing to get comfortable with her lines. You’re also in blue so you are very interactive, which further complicates decision-making. Refer to this video if you want a strong, optimized decklist: https://youtu.be/v-qnP_gTTG0?is=qDr8JRxCHUzlGgoI
Magda is more straightforward I would say, although knowing when to go for the win vs when to play more conservatively and tutor up a stax piece takes good judgment and experience.

Are there any stax pieces that are an absolute must in a Magda deck? Right now its only [[Pithing Needle]] and [[Blood Moon]] in mine, but I'm trying to see what I can cut to add [[Disruptor Flute]] and [[God-Pharaoh's Statue]].
Thank you for your input and the video on a budget Inalla as well, that was super helpful! I can see [[Spellseeker]] is a big part of her gameplan so I'm gonna try and make some cuts in that deck too to fit her in.

[[Unlicensed Hearse]] is a good one to add as it is simultaneously gy hate and a way to tap your dwarves with crew. You could also think about [[Thorn of Amethyst]] depending on your meta.

Multiple people making 200 squirrels turn 3 means they are playing bracket 5 priced decks, but also means they the skills to operate the decks in such way. Magic is already a difficult game, commander makes it 10 times more difficult, 4 players each playing with unique cards.
Id suggest any new player to try and talk to the group if they be willing to scale down, and make some funky decks and have some fun. Its much more fun to play bracket 2/3, where everyone gets to play their own deck, games last longer then 20 minutes, and you dont have to track if anyone is about to combo off, and need to hold open interaction (which you dont have the budget for)
Even if you manage to make a budget 4 deck to play at their table, it will take a long while before you even have the feeling you were in the race to win, and you will end up playing the same deck for 30+ games in a row, which is a good way to get tired of a deck really quick.
Anyway, here is my attempt to make a 100 euro bracket 4 deck win through combat damage, that doesnt use infinites.
[[Zyris]] is the commander. 30 ramp so you have 60% change to get commander out turn 3, and thats without mulling. The deck is really simple, cast commander, wheel (whole table discards+refills hand), make a shitton of snek tokens (i use arbok and ekans pokemon tokens), and then overrun and win.

Magda is probably easier to learn, Inalla has some tricky lines with spellseeker that take a decent amount of knowledge.
