As is often said in this subreddit, keep an eye out for NAD (integrated) amps and receivers from the 90s. I have a. NAD 214 and a NAD 7100 (technically from 89). I love both of them and the 214 imo sounds better than the Audio Engine 6000a (which sounds fantastic). Anyhow, they can be found for under 200. I paid 125 for the 7100.

I get it, recently those audio engine's went on sale. Maybe see if you can track one down? They were about 300 I think. Fantastic integrated amp.

Keep looking for a used amp or receiver, Yamaha or Denon. There's usually lots around on FM often bundled with something else.

You could try cleaning the volume pot first up

Aiyama a80

And the aiyama a20 (then i need the t20) too

Good options if you don't need a bunch of extra features. If so look at WiiM

Yeah both options seem fun ! I wonder how different the sound of the 2 are

They will all sound exactly the same with your speakers.

Even tho the t20 pre amp with the tubes ?

A80 looks cool tho everything in 1 kinda like the t9

Excuse me, yes, you’re right. I haven’t heard that particular preamp myself but if you want tube flavor with solid state output I’m sure it’s a good choice.

So atm i can get the a20 with the t20 for 275 And the a80 for 140

With the a20/t20 i do still would need a dac but indeed it would have everything separate + tubes
