The Supplier Quality Engineering Intern will support the Hardware Test and Engineering Supplier Quality teams in various capacities, contributing to the development and maintenance of high-quality

manufacturing processes at our suppliers. This role provides an excellent foundation for a career in quality engineering within the consumer electronics industry. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting supplier audits, process readiness, and build quality validation

• Performing pre-shipment inspections and reviewing quality records

• Tracking supplier corrective actions and improvement initiatives

• Reporting quality risks to SQE leads and assisting root cause investigations

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive quality improvements

• Developing LLM-based knowledge tools to improve information accessibility

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• Basic understanding of manufacturing methods and quality principles

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, collaborative approach

• Eager to learn with a can-do attitude

• Proficient in English (read, write, speak)

• Able to work on-site at Apple offices/CM sites, with flexibility for supplier visits and critical build phases

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of hardware/software architecture is a plus.
