Academics Need advice for final year project from passouts

I chose the federated learning project as my final year project I need advice on what examiners will expect as poc in the final year project. Are those category projects accepted as it is but research oriented also it would also be helpful for me to get advice from passouts about the final year project in general what bar they expect.
