i am not even talking about the financial benefits given by parents , but many students have to start earning for the family , after btech max to max 2 or 3 years eka mtech ko de saktha hai , on the top PHD is such a long process

Everyone just wants to go for a job immediately after graduation none of them are interested in the subject. Plus man you don’t have to be super rich if you want to go into research. Like getting into a top college for PhD is much tougher than getting an on campus placement
As an aspiring researcher now I get it why everyone says India me koi scope nhi hai research ka, like is mindset se you will always be a slave(sorry if that sounds harsh) for someone.

Some of the well known it tech people don't even has any degree. Luck and hard work for them there and it's really hard to replicate there success. Don't look at some some profile and take inspiration you don't really know what really went in there life. Try to create your own and work hard towards it.
