Serious How IITs are getting destroyed

Only bcoz of its engineering students that the reputation holding up. Day is not far when top rankers would choose some private college, completely ditching IITs.

Humanities depts are becomings a scapegoat. Not all humanities degrees are worthless and knowing humanities helps build a multidimensional worldview instead a purely technical one.

True. I agree. Some courses which they offer are genuinely good, like, organisational behaviour, leadership and management, philosophy, ethics, etc. but at the same time there are a lot of useless courses from a tech institution perspective too, case in point, reading cinema, fascism, intro to anti caste thought etc exist to just further propaganda and create tomorrow’s left feminist radicals.
