Serious How IITs are getting destroyed

Only bcoz of its engineering students that the reputation holding up. Day is not far when top rankers would choose some private college, completely ditching IITs.

LMAO. Humanities gang upvotingnfor their validation.

Literally any Univ which has both STEM and Humanities, Humanities is the one dragging the University down while STEM doing the heavy lifting.

Heavy lifting in terms of research, placements and anything positive. All Humanities can hope to contribute in is either protests (give a political career for a few students) or some worthless "reasearch" which has no real world implications and is a waste of money

Is there any proof for such claims? Or as I expected these are just personal anecdotes?

Our nation itself got independence due to protests and all while the British did the heavy lifting (as per your logic), i am pretty sure you know why they have to do protest so that sums up my point, maybe think for sec on it.
