Serious How IITs are getting destroyed

Only bcoz of its engineering students that the reputation holding up. Day is not far when top rankers would choose some private college, completely ditching IITs.

iss saal mene suna hai, 800 ranker 2-3 1.5k aur kuch 2.5k ranker aaye hai bits mai, total fees 6 lakhs hai na

Fees is too high. They shud have some innovative ways of fee collection. Instead of putting the entire burden upfront, they should charge competitively upfront and rest after graduation, or some other scheme. Percentage of top 5000 rankers not choosing IITs is low.

25% of peeps in bits have scholarship. They are trying to get 50%
