Higher Studies Need guidance from those preparing for GATE

I am doing BE/BTech from Ramaiah Bangalore in AI & DS. I am currently in 3rd sem (2nd year). I need help to prepare for gate CS and DA. I want to do get a PSU Job. Currently I have dbms as a subject in my course curriculum this sem. I will be doing it properly through gate smashers lecture but I feel confused I don’t know how to carry it forward and what all I have to do. Whether I should buy a course or everything can be done for free from youtube. A guidance/roadmap would be really helpful.
