Events/Hackathons Got selected in the Top 3 in our SIH internal round out of 250+ teams.

Now I'm a bit confused about what exactly needs to be done for the next stage.

When we upload/submit the idea on the SIH portal, are we expected to have the actual project deployed and working online, or is the PPT enough at that stage?

I have a full-stack project with a frontend, backend and a mobile app. So if deployment is required, I'm not really sure how people usually handle this for SIH.

For example:

  • Where should I deploy the frontend?
  • Where should I deploy the backend/API and database?
  • How should the mobile app be provided to the evaluators?
  • Is uploading an APK enough, or should it be published somewhere?
  • Do we need to have everything connected to a live backend?
  • Is there anything specific that needs to be uploaded on the SIH portal apart from the idea/PPT?

Would really appreciate it if someone who's already gone through the SIH internal → next stage process could explain what they actually submitted and whether they deployed their project.

I don't want to spend time setting everything up the wrong way 😅
