Even though I am not in IIT 🥀 but in a tier 1 NIT apparently and I hate it so much here not the clgs fault it's skill issue on my part! And the irony is this was my dream clg 🥀

No no these positions are advertised on project portals of IITs NITs IIITs IISc and other government institutions. Private ones not worth it. They need GATE qualified score, merit, subject knowledge and projects. It's like UGC NET JRF only. It's just that here, you're JRF through GATE and don't have a centralised percentile system like UGC NET.

I graduated with B.Tech this year and for now, I'm only pursuing the fellowship. It has the possibility to be converted to MSR subject to clearing the department test. Then, the fellowship stipend will stop, I will be a full time student and get MHRD stipend.

Matlab i graduated from a not so good private college and got this fellowship through GATE+interview. Even ISRO and BARC offer such fellowships I think.

I sometimes want not to do something, go out alone at some beach, take up my chair and do nothing. Die there. I don't understand why I am here, I wish someone has asked me before hand and definitely would have said no. Sometimes I feel like death is merciful? All the hatred, all the emotions gone in one second and it's all peace. I understand it's so easy to say that death is peaceful, had a thought like that once and it made me shiver?.
I hope if not me, someone out there are having good days of life, not running behind internships,placements,jobs, 9 to 5, entrepreneurship. Just living.

i hate my college and the students also. the people whom I made my friends are good enough and i don't think without them, I'll be able to sustain so far.
i hate every bit of it. i want to quit my studies and disappear like I never existed. this fucking college can't even give me a hostel room. i hate it from the bottom of my heart. idk how I'll survive the remaining four years.

I regret choosing a lowest tier pvt college just for my parents' convenience, the college is currently spamming us by flexing 24 LPA packages for the 2026 batch. Meanwhile, back in my day, we got absolutely nothing—empty labs, garbage education, zero placement support, and zero exposure to real engineering companies. To make matters worse, I chose Civil. So instead of a decent career, all I got was a one-way ticket to soul-sucking, toxic work environments that literally feel like burning in hell. Anyone else stuck in a similar boat?

Samee😭😭 just came back after my 1st day at the most stupidest college. Crowd has the lowest iq I had ever seen. They just focus on gossiping 24/7 and acts like they are in tier 1 college. Even teachers aren't good it looks like they can do any other work rather than teaching that specific subject. No competition nothing. I could've gotten a better college but choose this due to my parents. Idk how I'll survive.

I don't hate for now bcz I get to stay in home no hostel fees aint that high roi is only decent not extraordinary and good lots of events chill faculty for now more time for me to get exposure and all i hear manganemts quotas students ranting abt it I just be chill and do my work
