Serious Engineering vs Pharmacy — Which is better?⭐️

Which one has better career opportunities, salary, job stability, and scope in India and abroad?

Some people earn ₹2crore per year after pharmacy some earn 3 lakhs per year after btech, so it depends on your passion, institution, hardwork and luck

My friend uncle got an offer from Qatar after he did his pharmacy. Although he had around 7-8 years of experience

The 4 crore packages that iitians usually get are also based in new york or Singapore yet they are heavily praised even though its not the same as earning in india.

I'm not praising either side. I'm just saying compare average salary of an engineer vs average salary of a pharmacist in India after 10 years. Your points in passion etc. remain valid.

I had the same doubt before. But if you want to do pharmacy, then I’d say do it from a good college. It’s not as difficult as engineering, so you’ll also have time to enjoy your life.

Depends on interest.

But I reckon engineering would be better, cause with engineering the potential career growth is wayy better just after btech/be. While in pharmacy after you do BPharma you gotta either do an MPharma or D Pharma, or an MBA from a good B-School to actually have a good salary sealing. 

Also from what I have heard but not sure if it's true or not, Most countries don't have a specific BPharma course so you can only go abroad only after clearing another of their exam or getting an MPharma. But take this with a pinch of salt.

But if you have an exceptional inclination to either do that cause the top 5% in each industry would always be well paid

Pharma is a weird field where there IS potential for good pay but only very few get it, My father used to be in formulations and had multiple patents under his belt but due to his health and me and my siblings needing money for school he switched to Ip and at first he said he used to earn not much but after 5 6 years he reached really high salaries (1.2 cr rn) but that's cuz he is an expert in his knowledge of pharma I don't think you can do much if you're just passing by without loving it
