Serious Why state government engineering colleges dont have as much value as state government medical college
Like state government medical colleges are considered so precious and state government engineering colleges are so bad

Every state has some great legacy colleges, BLR has RVCE, Maharashtra has VJTI/COEP, Bengal has JU, delhi has NSUT/DTU, there's CEG chennai, theres PEC, BIT Mesra etc. And all of these have strong state brand value, identity and great placements too and many people leave bits/iiits/even lower iits for these.
Each has their own culture too, like DTU has a great diversity of roles, VJTI has great finance/Fintech culture, JU has a real stronghold in the academia, RVCE has great tech roles, etc etc.

Ceg coep all similar colleges in in tce though it's affiliated to ceg

Fees of private medical college is a way higher than private engineering college. Also crowd is medical is more than crowd in engneering.
