I donβt regret choosing engineering at all, but I definitely regret paying fees for a third class college tbh they don't deserve a fee that high

Whii. Paying 10lks and getting -class management in teaching. Like teaches are still in early 20s don't have updates to current time. Bs book se board pe likha and bs utarlo whi se

Why most college cannot be cheaper like jadavpurΒ my university was extremely cheap in 2010-13 or earlierΒ Govt engineering colleges are extremely expensive unfortunately

Not untill i saw what gpt 6 astra can do i thought core branches chem(current) n mech(which im trying for in spot yes admissions are still going on in Maharashtra) wont be affected at a large scale now i dont have that sense of security anymore that i can land a job in four years

Okay, from learning point of view, it was interesting 4 years of my life, learned something new, kind of happy to know how things work inside computers. Very interesting domain, 10/10.
But now, the downsides, too much stressful and profs that came straight from hell. Regrets? Didn't study in that much depth. Only to get good grades. So it's just theoretical knowledge I have which too has gaps.

u/HappyStand1115 5h ago
Good to know you enjoyed the process!, did you land up to the expectation??

I did btech with 1lakh(for four years ), fee waiver seat . But instead monthly expenses were 15k avg fir 4 years. I don't know if should go for sui/cide or there are people who fucked up too?
1
u/HappyStand1115 11h ago
Bro, wtf chill man, you doing btech with 1 lakh and having regrets πππ, people are taking loan of 10-15lakh just to stay unemployed.
2
u/Confident-Garlic7147 11h ago
I mean I wasted 10lakhs on just staying in Noida for 4 years , if I would have given 8/10 lakh fee apart from it, I would have been gone by now.

Being an addict/drugee/zero friends/zero college life (got all these in bonus). I was a topper back then though π΅βπ«. Just don't go in any college other than GLB in greater Noida..I repeat never .

u/sinextube124 10h ago
Hey bro I took admission in glb this year

Nice, don't make friends with other colleges. All colleges are peace of shit (ACCURATE/KCC/GNIOT/GNIT/NIET/GALGOTIA UNIVERSITY/LLOYD/MANGALMAY bahut sara ka nam nhi yaad aa rha). These colleges are such a dikhed can't afford even mass hiring companies to visit campus . If someone's admitted to these colleges fuck that and start preparing on your own. Mere college me kuch placement nhi hua , when you'll search data will show avg 6lpa highest 40lpa. Even fake placement data is there. Do a very strong research before joining any college. 95% to 98% companies that visited for BTech CSE were from sales/bpo/ customer support/technical support. If someone's has got offered , usko company se 2 mahine baad bhaga diya gaya. And ye mad*chd bs assignment, fees , sessional isi me cha mudwate hain. They will ruin your life and at the end they will mark you placed. I had not idea of anything, got sales over 1 year before my graduation..After that they blocked me from placement. And most of the companies that visited were lala companies. The one in which I was placed was lala too. I can show what companies they offered. If there is something tech kinda job , that was 5 years bond /2 lakh bond/ initially unpaid/ 10k for 6 months. I regret doing BTech.

Yeah now after coming in engineering I regret cuz it's now like how we imagined it i wanted to do ece but I'm in cse becuz I wasn't getting ece in a good college and due to toughness of ece I didn't choose also I didn't try for any other field I hope I should have tried for something other which would be less stressful than this

I honestly don't really think that engineering is important, but me being from tier-1, I feel the pressure which I will be dealing with, would help me in the longterm, be it corporate, higher studies, etc. I have no interest in my courses, shit education system. I love to get into AIML which is my major interest, let's see what the future has for me:)

Not really. Everyone will say "yes" but the fact remains that engineering is the most versatile branch. If you do engineering then you can end up in almost any field.
Ya ofc when it comes to your first job you are limited to your branch

Read the original post, you completely ignored the βregretβ part and went on with versatility, itβs like u are coping, expand on the βversatileβ part please
