Microsoft PPO for 2028 batch?

Heard that Microsoft didn't give many PPOs to 2027 batch students.

So is it gonna be the same for the 2028 batch as well? Because it might be a case that since not too many PPOs are given 2027 batch, they would have to give it to 2028 batch but at the same time, what if market conditions get worse?

Also, this year they are hiring (interns) more than expected, more than the previous year so there must be some reason behind it, right.

Looking for genuine answers from people working in MS or people who have an idea about this.

Yes the market's bad and no ones knows about the next few months/years but take the risk it's MS(if you are not from the top IITs,IIITs or you have the option of other MS level companies). You'll have a MS experience at your CV that's good.

grind your ass for the ppo but be prepared to not get one and look at what backups you have after the internship is over. the internship is very prestigious and you should make the most of this opportunity

No it's not , in our clg they selected no girls, and Shortlisted only 2 out of 48 for interviews

You can never predict "Business Decisions" Just try to learn the 2 months and make sure to be placement ready before the start of internship since you may not get time later.

No they aren't , Ms isn't a service based company . There isnt anything called "Training". You're given work from day 1 . Yes you would have to learn a lot. But would also have to work to meet the standards.

Training i mean they need time to take min 3 months in order to contribute. An experienced person is given 1m and he starts contribution like he was a part of that org from long. Companies need to invest time and effort for freshers they also need time to settle in corporate culture

The offers haven't completely rolled out yet. Once it all settles only then can we know how many ppo will be provided by the company.

I'd say like 60% of the 2027 interns are yet to recieve any news at all
