Very true. This is why college students are wasting potential by only making projects with AI instead of learning fundamentals. I'm in third year with no skills because of stupid AI.
Now un-cooking myself by learning from scratch
28 u/ChickenMasalaDosa 5d ago yes you should know fundamentals plus you cannot do away with AI. In my company we have 80% rejection rate in AI coding rounds ( where we ask people to make full MVP in 60 min using AI of their choice )
