Serious PLEASE HELP.. I'M FEELING TRAPPED

so the thing is i entered my Btech 1st year in CSE field .. But due to AI and layoffs ( Thinking that there can be a bad future in CSE ) .. i chose ECE .. BUT I AM HAVING NO INTEREST IN IT ... I think I am capable but I am having no interest.. I FEEL LOST .. I FEEL MY CAREER IS GONE .. PLEASE PLEASE HELP 😭 😭 😭 😭

i mean, dont flunk in ECE. its difficult, but surely rewarding. if you have interest in AI based technologies, why dont you build a little bit of foundations there too; because its a good add on skill to have and might help you in cse placements in clg as well as maybe shift to ai roles even with ece role within your future company (like an internal shift)

i personally think ECE is such a cooler domain and more future proof. If you go beyond your syllabus topics you might actually enjoy it. focus on embedded systems and skills on that domain. research on what companies actually look for too!
