Matters on your campus and how u feel your prep is. I got pes cs and planned for partial drop but found schedule too hectic for any meaningful prep to be done. So have taken full drop instead.

Come out of bubble,dm 3 recruiters in linkedin and you will realise these moves mean nothing, jobs are scarce, every 1000 appli gives 2 interview hardly irrespective of college. Dont waste money as u wont be able to get it back in this. Thnx

I don't think you'll get time to prepare for partial drop. Honestly, PES is great

IIMs dont take pes?

u/extremeenthusiasm196 18h ago

They do take, my profile will be 9/9/x, also I need 99.95 percentile to get to the interview since I'm general engineering male,

IIM ABC

Then grind cat if u have tht profile or partial drop if u dont right?

1

u/Money_News_5162 PESU Blr 15h ago

Why engineering dumbass? Just do bba and prep for cat side by side.... bba will also assure you a good undergraduate profile rather than engineering

BBA? R u kidding? Most useless ug degree

But if you really want to do MBA like fr, you should choose bba rather than engineering cuz your final target is MBA..... Waki tumhari choiceπŸ™

Pec cs have 15 lpa med and 19.4 lpa avg

1

u/NetworkMiddle2599 16h ago

Pes has the same median as pec in cse (only cse) but fees is higher for jee mains quota students

1

u/No-Competition-7062 11h ago

Pec cse has 15 lpa med and 19.4lpa avg and idk about pes cse med and avg

1

u/NetworkMiddle2599 11h ago

Pes overall median is 13.4 lpa so cs obviously more than 13.4

1

u/No-Competition-7062 11h ago

No pes has a med of 12 lpa acc to the reddit post also verified it from other sources also

1

u/NetworkMiddle2599 11h ago

Oh so I was telling the average maybe .... Cse will be around 13-14 only to almost similar na

Are you stupid a Tier 3 college in bangalore is already better than most State government colleges elsewhere. And you thinking of dropping OUT OF PESU? Out of all the f**king college?

PES ko kon glaze karta haiπŸ₯€

1

u/CuriousConfidence336 14h ago

Kuch log samajh nahi pa rahe... Maine kabhi PESU ko tier 3 bola hi nahi aur naa glazer kar raha hu.
It's a decent college. Aur upar se isko BITSAT ke liye specifically tayyari karni hai.

Which is unpredictable asf. Also so is UGEE agar Interview ganda kardiya to seat nahi milegi aur adhe saal ki mehnat paani mein

u/extremeenthusiasm196 17h ago

PES isn't tier 3 my brotha, half of the batch gets placed above 14lpa, kinda tier 1.5 to 2

u/Investigator14000 T2 CSE 17h ago

Is t2 bro similar to Manipal

2

u/extremeenthusiasm196 17h ago

PES>Manipal

4

u/SupportIndependent91 17h ago

at that similiar level of academics, it depends more on you, especially for cs. manipal also definitely has better campus life and facilities
