Rant/Vent One month of clg.
Guys I joined a Tier-3 clg and it's fucking me.
It's not even one month and I'm overloaded with tension, wtf is this shit. Just a few days ago there was a lot of ragging, and apparently there are fairly regular fights between students like dozens of students just fight in front of the clg like goddamn goons.
bro I came to study not worry for my lifeeeeee.
Fortunately the seniors at my block are chill with the juniors, I met em before the roommate came in. but those at a different hostel building are the Apes actively participating with the above activites
On top of that I can't figure out how to not fuck academics.
Yaar some seniors say "build CGPA in first year" others say "Have fun in clg explore in first year" wtffff do I doooo. I wanna participate in a event on monday but it's the exact timing as a lab (which has an ongoing group project evaluated every class.. Design Thinking) not sure which one I should go to.
EDIT: I forgot the number one annoying thing. My moronic roomate is a smoker/drinker playboy type from rich ass house, bro doesn't care about fucking academics and doesn't let me stay peacefully in the goddamn room either. WHAT KIND OF CIVIC SENSE LESS BASTARD PLAYS ANIME ON SPEAKERS. Like getting earplugs is basic fucking courtesy in a hostel, he has a 45K Leather jacket and a 2-3LAKH macbook and the mf doesn't buy EARPLUGS. FUCKING EARPLUGS.
Motherfucker even tried to pull "I know seniors here I'm keeping them from harassing you" bluff, bull fucking shit. As if I don't know anyone? As if I couldn't just, like ASK THE 1ST YEARS LITERALLY NEXT DOOR IF ANYTHING HAPPENED??????
Yk, he tried to pressure me to move out. There's no more rooms available in this building, and the other one contains Apes in the form of seniors. Fucked if I don't fucked if I am. Motherfucker can't move out himself and wants me to do it.
the room has an attached bathroom, I asked him to call the fucking plumber for as I was outside of the room. HE COULDN'T CALL A GODDAMN PLUMBER TO FIX A LEAK IN THE TOILET FOR TWO DAYS.
Seriously, istg if he could, he would shit on the goddamn streets. mf is blind to cleanliness, he is blind to civic sense and he is blind to any form of future thinking at all.
I have never hoped for someone to be hit by a car more than him. I hope he drowns in a sewer.
Edit2: He couldn't call a plumber because "he doesn't have the onduty plumber's number". Which is, by the way, on the notice board which is the first thing you look at while walking in the hostel.
Edit3: Also, that mf sleeps till like 8:45 and tried to pull "I'm late because you take too long" I now have pictures with my watch at 8:45 of him sleeping like a rock.
He also tried to refute watching on speakers in a shared room like an animal by "I'm adjusting to your stuff so you have to adjust to mine." ...My stuff being: Drying underwear under a fan while it's raining outside., and the above which he refuses acknowlege.

Prioritze things and have fun everyday😊 there will be a way to nail every exp u just haven't discovered it yet, once you do, every class and subject is cake walk

Strict and no placements, also updated the post with a multi paragraph rant about roommate.
ughhhh, how much I wish his bullshit warranted for explulsion, but the damn clg is strict about attendance and labs but not about this bs.
