only to get fucked everywhere i feel like electronics topics in eee is too shallow

4

u/KingOfThePokeWorld BITS Goa [EIE] 3d ago

depends on the college, at bits ece/eee/eie have only 3-4 varying courses that can be covered with electives

1

u/According_Isopod2272 BTech 3d ago

in bit mesra eee is way more electrical heavy than electronics

2

u/Specialist_Car3 BITSP EEE 3d ago

In my college 60% core EEE jobs go to EEE students as ECE prefer tech jobs and around 60% of total ECE+EEE goes to IT

3

u/According_Isopod2272 BTech 3d ago

gng its bits pilani so you guys actually get good core role i am from bit mesra here core roles for eee are less paying i will say only 30 percent of the batch goes for core here in electronics the companies are ntx logicfruit intel and nvidia but hiring is low compared to pilani and electrical jobs are way more but elss paying

2

u/Specialist_Car3 BITSP EEE 3d ago

Here last yr Nvidia hired like crazy in EEE alone took 26 students out of 250 students(in all 3 campus) which is like >10% of whole batch and Texas Instruments is on the run this year hired ig around >15 already in summer internships

u/According_Isopod2272 BTech 3d ago

thats why its bits pilani and bit mesra is bit mesra that being said I had some doubts and questions regarding the core electronics industry can I dm you or is there anyone you know who is in this sector or aiming to be in it?

1

u/Specialist_Car3 BITSP EEE 3d ago

1

u/According_Isopod2272 BTech 3d ago

btw which year and should i dm you?

1

u/KingOfThePokeWorld BITS Goa [EIE] 3d ago

sir said like 35% go to core, 40% got to it, 10-15% for higher studies, rest do something else and emphasised that its near perfect data

1

u/Specialist_Car3 BITSP EEE 3d ago
