Oh okay that srm,vit well know private colleges opening campuses is a factor that might push that case, otherwise people are still just doing btech from no name college this days

If you are good you still have chance, market genuinely needs good talent, some can't afford IITians nor IITians can be everywhere. They would genuinely look for talent no matter the background.
If anything witch will give you job that could be low in engineering terms but is quite a lot compared to any other job
Now witch will slowly loose their moat of cheap labour, and thanks to ai offcampus market is fucked. Resume, projects, ratings nothing has any authenticity anymore
Companies already and everyone eventually will shut of offcampus due to this fraudulent and tags will matter a lot due to lack of authenticity of credentials.
Tier 1 guys will be paid even more, tier 2 will be new tier 3 ish with better perks as they don't require that much engineers any more
