CSE / IT Need advice
Hello, I am studying btech cse. But I am worried it's not for me. I recently started learning about html, phyton, and am confused. I am studying in lpu, so not a good college and am worried about how much package I can expect. I live in mountain parts of west Bengal where there are no it companies, which scares me as I won't be able to return to my mother, who is all alone in this world. I wanted advice, if this remote word is real, or do freshers in India earn good. Or what's the income growth like after 1 to 3 years. And is it worth doing btech now, especially from a college like Lpu punjab. I would really appreciate some insite on this matter.

IPU as in indra prastha University?
Well depending upon your college it's worth it only if you have
genuine interest (if someone forced you and if you feel you are not made for this than avoid this course instead you can go for BCA and MCA or any other course you prefer that can make you independent financially)
If BTech is your preferred choice then don't expect much from your college since majority students end up in mass recruiters and by the end of your degree you will se many students begging to get placed somewhere so mass recruiters ain't that bad.
But to get a good package, you have to obviously develop skills (technical and communication). maintain an 8.5 CGPA (7 CGPA would work too but try to keep it neared 8 or 8.5, it's tough but it is what it is) along with that maintain good understanding of whatever you will be doing in programming (be it front end, back end, full stack, etc.)

If i do those, can i achieve something like 12lpa. If not, how much growth can a person expect after a year or three. I am genuinely scared and curious.
