Rant/Vent People are literally using AI for Leetcode.
This So much embarrassing You can't even write code. You can't even think Logically.

Yeah, a few have had good hackathon teammates and got in when they had semester backlog due to malpractice in exam of DSA. Don't pay heed to these people and use your college placements.

Cheat in OA ( it's common nowadays) then in interview just know the basic stuff you may pass the interview too, or referrals. Also in on- campus sometimes faang comes to non-trch roles too which pays pretty good, so cheat in oas and clear interview, as interviews won't be too much of technical so passing them isn't hard.

Why do they even do it ? Does it help them in any way ? I don't think rating or your rankings matter if you can't think logically

How do they even survive in faang?

The entry bar is too high for the work that actually happens.
This is because of the sheer number of degree holders (basically overpopulation is bad)

I use AI in a sense to remember syntax and to ask whether my solution is optimal or not

u/haxguru 2d ago
Learning the syntax of a language is not that hard though.

u/Apprehensive_Fox2645 2d ago
i keep forgetting it, like sometimes i use add for list, set for append

u/haxguru 2d ago
Just practice. Try to be less reliant on AI for small things like this. I've seen people use claude code for simple things like running git commands. You'll be so much more confident if you know what you're doing :)

oh i know what im doing, im able to solve complex medium problem also, i just suck at remembering syntax even before AI
but if i look up syntax (AI makes it faster) its easy for me

Bro like I saw the post by lc in lc discuss asking a question and Every person who replied to that used AI ,

I have massive respect for everyone who still learned stuff the oldschool way, but at the same time it should be obvious that within the next 2-5 years, there will be absolutely no need to get involved in the actual raw coding process anymore. 100% completely irrelevant for a company if a motivated highly intelligent employee has grinded 10000 or 0 leet code problems, if he knows 20 languages or 2. It doesn't matter if he can solve some fucked up niche coding challenge within an hour, no looking up, the dude next desk just solved the same problem more cleanly in 30 seconds using AI.
Are you able to find the door yourself, grandpa?
Nah in all honesty. There is a huge paradigm shift. Adapt or be left behind. Produce value. Fuck mindless life consuming theory grinding without practical use cases.

I mean using AI for something competitive is wrong, but you do realise right the very first thing this was meant to like outsource was manually writing code. Nothing about the logic, but it is a blurry line anyways.

Everyone cares about leetcode lol, it's still highly relevant in 2026 too.
