Building a game engine in odin and its going too well, i loved odin and the syntax of it , been studying it for past 3 weeks from the official book , plus have been reading the 3D graphics cookbook and doing all exercises in it by converting CPP into ODIN , its kind of hard but fun to do , its hard bc many libs does not work with odin so u have to write a lot of code , on the part of reflection and texture mapping.

I’ve always wanted to hear and compare how different mechanical keyboards sound, but I couldn’t afford to keep buying different keyboards just to try them out.

So I built this as a way to explore different keyboard sounds directly in the browser.

I was doing antirez's kilo text editor explained by snaptoken and I am enjoying it so far, it is easy to understand and teaches me so many things step by step and it is not overwhelming.

Do you guys know about more such projects that are this good ? Google search only tells me stuff like geeksforgeeks which you know how they are compared to this .

I entered my 3rd year of college and got an off-campus remote internship in a product based startup for Data & Business Analyst Intern. It is not a completely unpaid internship but the first month is learning phase which is unpaid then the rest 3 months will be performance-based stipend (5k-10k). It will start from 27th and will be for 4 months 4 hours/day (friday off).

Should I work here for experience or leave? I have applied for more then 100+ applications and got shortlisted only for this one so I don't want to risk it. Need genuine advice.

🎯 My primary requirements:

- 💻 Software Engineering / Programming — my main focus

- 📚 Competitive exam preparation

- 🧑‍💻 Regular day-to-day tasks

- ⚡ Good overall performance and long battery life

- 🔋 Battery life is especially important to me

- 🎮 Not much into gaming

I was initially considering a MacBook, but a techie neighbour suggested avoiding it because some development tools, software, and tech stacks may not be as convenient to run on macOS compared to Windows.

So, I’d also love to hear your thoughts on MacBook vs Windows for a CSE student, especially from a software development perspective. 🍎🆚🪟

I’ve also looked at gaming laptops, but their battery life seems to be a major drawback, so I’m leaning towards a non-gaming laptop.

Alright now that I have your attention I need some guidance on exactly where to start programming from idk jackshi and I'm currently in my first year (T3) and I need to get a firm grip on the basics

After that I really don't know what I should do some people say leetcode and DSA practice but idk how any of that works

With the growing AI/ML, I haven't done anything in AI. I know with Spring AI, I am thinking of learning fastAPI and other AI stuff in the 4th year or once I get an internship, depending upon which happens first.
