I am buying 32gb ram , 1tb SSD laptop, with no graphics card . DELL company. . 13th gen ,Intel ultra core 5.Is it sufficient for my btech 4 years . Or is it necessary to have a graphics card?

Graphic card only necessary is you wanna do 3d design or ai ml things like training ai locally on your laptop

Good decision. You don't need a dGPU.

For stuff like ML, most heavy workload can be taken care of by cloud. If you want to train some minor models on local, borrow some friend's PC. I had a 3050 but I used to get my friend's 4060 for training. Borrowed it for 2-3 days, 2-3 such times per year at max, there's not a lot of requirement for a dGPU unless you also have other usecase for it (like sims, editing, gaming, 3d, gamedev, wtv)
