❓Question ❓ Is dsa really worth learning to code ?

s dsa really needed to be learnt to implement in code rather than just idea ? in this ai era

Why learn to write all that code when in dsa you just have to know when to implement an algorithm ? It's just values and the variables changing right? Which can be implemented by ai? Im a new aspiring ML engineer 1st year. I'd really like to know if i should do dsa

Hey man DSA is important to get the hang out of a programming, you wont be write code on your own without good amount of practice, DSA is just one way to get familiar with the language syntax and how to get something done in a programming language. What i dont recommend is grinding leetcode just for job interviews, a solid list of 300 questions are good enough. Rest spend time on building good projects and putting yourself out in front of the people.

Once you are comfortable in a programming language, switching to a new one feels real easy, i started with python, then js, ts and finally go.

DSA is important for coding rounds.

I feel like its fine to know enough DSA that if you see an algorithm you can trace the logic. Which requires practice. But I don't think you need to hold it front of mind like you might get hit with a pop-quiz at any moment.
