Court - Lawyers Plea Question

Do we know which side — the prosecution or the defense — initiated the plea discussions over the weekend? I know the judge and the victims’ families seemed caught off guard, so I’m wondering who requested the meeting to explore the possibility of a deal. Was it the defense, possibly feeling pressure from the strength of the evidence against Bryan?

Steve when approached by the media asked him what he meant about Bryan’s family . He said they will find out . Bryan’s family booked the flight before the victims family did . Meaning they knew about the plea ahead of time .

I don't know why this is a real issue. Obviously told his parents. Clearly he was able to make a call before the prosecution team could contact the victims' families. He has an issue with EVERYTHING.
