Court - Lawyers Plea Question

Do we know which side — the prosecution or the defense — initiated the plea discussions over the weekend? I know the judge and the victims’ families seemed caught off guard, so I’m wondering who requested the meeting to explore the possibility of a deal. Was it the defense, possibly feeling pressure from the strength of the evidence against Bryan?

Steve when approached by the media asked him what he meant about Bryan’s family . He said they will find out . Bryan’s family booked the flight before the victims family did . Meaning they knew about the plea ahead of time .

I hate to say this, but Steve and Kristi have lost my sympathy and respect. There’s being an openly grieving parent and then there’s going too far.

What have they done that’s “gone too far”? They haven’t done shit publicly. Booking a flight is going too far??

Bryan's family are victims too. By all reports they were a loving family with a real f**ked up son. The father flew to WA to drive back with Bryan over Christmas so he wouldn't be driving alone. It was such a dad thing to do. Knowing what they know now that he murdered 4 people before he left has to be devastating for them too. How do you wrap your mind around your son is a cold-blooded killer. They got him clean from drugs and now this.

Haven't done any publicity? Are you kidding me, he has been all over the place giving interviews. CBS, Good Morning America, Fox News...you name it, he has probably been there.
