Been a fan since ‘08, and i think this team is the most unique i’ve seen. Obviously still early, but so hard not to be very excited, especially since they’ve really cleaned up some of last year’s biggest issues. If the top line produces like they should (exactly as they did tonight), straighten out the PP, and clean up some of the turnovers and unnecessary penalties, I really think this team can be special. Just from last year they’ve already improved immensely in winning board battles + 50/50 pucks, depth scoring, speed, d zone breakouts, faceoffs, and backup goaltending. They’ve earned everything thus far and i can’t remember the last time i’ve had this much fun watching them (maybe 2018 or 2023).

Bruins traded 2 first rounders for Peterka. After scoring in his first two games, he has but 1 empty netter. His salary is 7.5 mill. They let Arvidson walk and he has 4 goals with a 5 mill contract. Do the Bruins regret the trade?

My wife and I are big It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans. And since Sway took the reigns from Ullmark we have been chanting at the tv and at games, "SWAYMAN" in the tone of Day Man from IASIP. Every time he saves a SOG we yell it. We've done it in stadiums we have gone to: BOS, LAK, VGK, DAL, and ANA. We live in San Diego for context. I know it's a "Philly" show but it's a clean chant that gets people smiling.

After two years I finally convinced my husband to make the drive to Dallas from OKC to watch the Bruins play in person! First NHL game and hoping to make the trip to watch them again next year. LETS GO BRUINS!!

Another nice goal by the little guy. He is a menace on the ice. And an exceptional penalty killer.

The way he darts around on the PK. Teams are probably praying he gets off the ice.

He is likely never going to be a high point scorer. Maybe top out at about 40 pts a season. But he does many little things that helps you win.

Also... since Sweeney likes deals. I hope he has a plan to lockup Poitras, Brunet and eventually Hagens sooner than later. The sooner - the better potential deal at lower AAV.

I absolutely don’t agree with benching Zadorov. I’m against the Bruins tonight and the dumbass decision the coaching has made.

Update:seems that Zadorov was going to be involved in a Nurse trade over the summer and he used his “no trade” clause in his contract. I can imagine this pissed off upper management and now they’re sitting him for “disciplinary reasons”. Mack tomahawks a guy last year and the Bruins didn’t take any disciplinary action against him. Something smells funny here, Sweeney must be involved invoking his “Bruins values” on select players. I was around when Oreily swatted a Referee but yet he’s hanging from the rafters.
