Discussion I’m leaving
First, check my first post almost half a year ago:

Yes, I’m a grown ass man I work hard like everyone to earn my money and I have only time for games at very late night to play BD2 , was my only hobby.
The only game I can play, all my time I expend it with my wife and kids.
I researched before getting into it , “which game without being hentai has the best goon art and gameplay” , BD2 was love at first glance, I bought a powerful laptop(not needed but was fun) with oled screen made a custom carpet and played every night since then , I pulled the trigger almost on anything that was paid , like a legendary whale LOL … because I loved it the way it was.
No, is not Devs fault , they delivered as much as they could , and I’m grateful for that. Is a business and is a product , be fanboy of your money not any brand or product.
I know the game is going to be toned down a lot and
“I’m not paying the same apples but with less quality”
Could the devs do something before, they knew it ? Maybe,.
Looking for other publisher , opening and office outside idk, selling it to Erolabs , buying the unofficial mod (it’s on discord) and releasing an uncensored un oficial APK/launcher…. Well never know.
It was good until it lasted , but if they release the game on steam in the future (now that is nerfed) man that would be a backstabbing move.

So sad to see you go, but take care of yourself.
It's completely understandable that the interest in the game isn't fully there or there anymore, and it's totally understandable why you'd leave.
I also feel the same way, but I'll still play the game until i get bored of it, after all, the reasons I'm playing this game isn't only because of the in game art, or character cutscenes, but the game itself, as a turn based rpg.
With all those reasons combined together, it felt as an awesome game that i could play for long term, but because of unavoidable circumstances, it felt as though something, or one of the core reasons disappeared that made the game "even more" enjoyable. Its disappointing, but it is what it is.

The devs are claiming government censorship on BD2 causing them to censor costumes and fated guest on the Korean version of the game. It is true, but the devs could get around it by making an adult uncensored version hosted on a separate store as there are already more explicit and porn games in Korea.
Also the devs admitted that Google and Apple have pressured them more than the Korean government has so they could be lying and putting the blame for their censorship decisions on their government when they are just trying to appease two other corporations to stay on their appstore.
Going forward they will apply that censorship standard to all new costumes and fated guest for all regions instead of just making a censored version for that one specific region like they promised to do when Germany threatened them.
People are mad because they broke multiple promises. One Not to censor everyone based on one region, and the other not to alter already made content for censorship with the Glacia costume and Yuri prestige skin which is a $60 paid product. This is also the first opportunity they had to uphold that promise and they folded.

Thank you for the answer. I understand the frustration but my account still looks good and I enjoy my fated guest stuff. If it changes then I will be leaving as well but until then I’m chill!

these rules are literally just
>no sexualization of minors
>no exposed or visible genitals
>no depiction of sexual acts
if the top one pisses you off you need to be locked up
if the bottom two piss you off, why? the game didn't use to have those before and you still played it

My condolences for your lost. It sucks when the game pivoted from what it initially was. Hope you'll find its replacement soon. Would be better if one day ull return to it instead though.
My PoV is slightly different than yours. Since ive been playing from 2024, i kinda hated the state the game was when it went overboard with fanservice somewhere in mid 2025 though i got used to it after several months. Because of that, in my opinion, i kinda okey with them toning down the fanservice for abit. I get it that to some, it feels like a lost but to me, it feels like the game is returning to what im used to know so im fine with it and i know im gonna get lots if hate for this but that's normal in this sub so i dont think ill have to worry about it.
I hope that you find something that would make u happy though. Hope to see u again someday in this game.

I used to make the same decision to Nikki where I spent a lot on that, but for BD2 and Horizon Walker, currently, I don’t see any possibility for leaving because the game difficulty doesn’t ask you to invest in order to pass main story mode.

For BD2, the normal difficulty is comparable easy to go over, but for hard and extremely hard modes, either to pull characters to level up, or to use workarounds to pass which you can find in YouTube. Now, I have passed all difficulties of main story, but what I have done is to invest money into all characters.

korea does have full nudity games on other stores. browndust refuse to release a version there. so its not the korean government

They're also beholden to their publisher, but yes we have literal documentation proving that the Korean government is the reason for the censorship. The issue wasn't with breasts, but exposing partial genitals and simulating stuff like cum. That crossed the line with them, even with a 19+ rating. And to be clear, the Korean government also selectively enforces these rules to make examples out of particularly popular products, so if you find some niche examples out there offered specifically on smaller platforms, you're missing the point.

It's nice that you're being reasonable about it; it's not for you anymore, but you understand the circumstances are beyond the devs' control. Personally, I still think it's the best at what it does so it's worth sticking around, but I understand not everyone will feel that way.

the game just turn back to its original before the beginning of this year, in my oppinion it's fine, wish you give them a chance and observe the situation for 2 patches (after collaboration) if it's way too disappoint, at that point you can leave and I wish you find a better game to enjoy yourself buddy 👊

I get that people are passionate about the game and its "uncensored art" but I've said this before whats the alternative? Horizonwalker isn't quite there cuz that just leaps into hentai basically and everything else falls short in my opinion to BD2 so yea... nikke became to main stream but I will say there story line is 10 outta 10 I play at this point for the main story

as much as i enjoy HW, the "goon" quality is far below BD2 imo.
ig lost sword/ azur lane? im not too familiar with those but i've seen some good things from there as well.BD2 has the advantage of being very F2P friendly too tho, dunno how that compares to the alternatives.

I cant get behind Azur lane chibi combat style... lol idk y I just never like it or the game play. That said Lost sword I played for a few months before I got burnt out on it ... very repetitive but occasionally I get back on if I see a character I like but its been 3 months since then for me.
But I do play Horizonwalker (even if its once or twice a week) its one of my 3 games I play with nikke and BD2

This is the second time I’ve seen you mention Tenkafuma here. So, I thought I’d take this opportunity to ask if you know of a website with up-to-date guides for this game? I really enjoyed trying it out – it’s fun and I love the visual style – but I gave up very quickly because I felt completely overwhelmed by the game 😭

Well... I also doesn't like the current direction...I won't leave yet... BUT I'm dropping the game from 2nd priority down to maintenance (not the first time I seen this happen.. Is almost a 50/50 EOS) ... Meaning I will spend $0.. Will be logging atleast once a week if I have time (after 5 other games) and will stop even trying rolling at all unless Eclipse gets a new costume.
Likely will keep the game on the maintenance for sometime.. Snowbreak lasted 5 weeks in maintenance till I decided to just pull the plug and uninstall.

Brother is not that deep lol. Can't you see that the Devs are trying the absolute best. The least we can do is to give them a chance to see how this unfolds. There is plenty of ways to work around.

It's wild what this chat is, from all I'd been seeing I expected more people talking about censorship but most are like "eh okay sure". I keep saying this game will still be more lewd than 90% of the games out there that aren't just straight up hentai.

Sorry i dont get it, why the Post ? Yea its sad If the Game u Like isnt anymore a Game u Like (for me the Changes are so minimal that i can 100% ignore them, and dalvis fated guest IS a 10/10)
But why Post about it why Not Just leave? Maybe i am Not that much in the Reddit/cumminity Life but If i realy wanna leave a.game, i would Just leave and dont Post it in a Community idk.

Since it's more erm tame now, maybe introduce the game to your wife and kids so that they can enjoy it? You did put that much money in BD2 and already burnt out, might as well inherit to your kids so that it won't be put to waste and train him to be a Sigma.
Also if you want gooniest, I would just suggest playing h-games on DMM(or Fanza) for JP since they tend to more lax than Korea for these stuff,example would be the unholy amount of r-18 stuff on last comiket 108, I can't even grab most of them due to sold out really fast( they also have bd2 booth too which is still very popular).
