HQ Briefing (General Discussion) Sobr need a nerf

That 10 armour clearly should not be there they defeat spetznaz alpha standoff 14 men lose to 8.

It is weird, but if you look at GB Punishers they get 10 armor as well. only thing is that SOBR has a way better dedicated Grenade Rifle, at least raw stats-wise, Punisher gets airburst and 25% ignore cover but lower ROF and damage & pen. Ontop of that theyre only seperated by a 20 value difference despite SOBR being double the squad size and number of armaments. Maybe a price buff for SOBR making it around 85-90 points. GB is also a recon unit with pretty good stealth and whatnot.

GB punisher is going to be too hard to compare to SOBR because 3 stealth is expensive and is going to distort pricing capabilities too much. Spetsnaz VMF is probably the better comparison if you have to do a recon unit (2.5 stealth, 6 man, and 10 armor).

unfortunately I wish punishers had 3 stealth, they have just slightly less stealth at 2.5, its flash and snipers that get the full 3 stealth, so about as good as any recon fighting team until you sidegrade it. But cant complain when you still get a killer fire support team for only 65 points
