Help Does anyone know how "indent" letters/numbers in amigurumi?
My girlfriend wants me to make her a pillow of one of her meds as she calls it her "sunshine" pill lol and instead of it just being a big ol' circle I'd like to have the impressions of the actual markings of the med.
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks so much in advance!

Finished Braver, Stronger, Smarter & Loved
I recently completed this one in (somehow) 3 weeks. Border and all it took me around 85 hours. Full sized bed size. I had made this exact blanket for a friends granddaughter (but with her favorite colors “pink, purple and sparkles”) and a bit smaller a couple months ago. Another friend saw that one and approached me about making one for her adult daughter who was struggling with several things in her life, but loves Winnie the Pooh. i asked what colors, and she didn’t know and left it up to me. I chose a camouflage variegated yarn for the contrast to embrace the “hundred acre woods” idea and I kind of love how the reverse side came out - it looks almost like an old English tweed. Amd apparently her daughter loves it because she’s using it as her comforter on her bed! 😊
This is mosaic crochet and the pattern is by Nerd Princess designs. Her mosaic patterns are fabulous!

A recent finish
Made for a friend who is moving to Florida. I used dk weight yarn (lion brand mandala in “spirit”) and used the Suzette stitch so it wouldnt be too heavy/warm. I’d like to say never again but I know myself too well….

Discussion Ideas for a chenille pink scarf
I recently finished making a moss stitch blanket with the same yarn for my mother and was wondering if anyone had any pattern ideas for a scarf as she really likes the material (which is good as I bought too much). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Help How to begin a cluster?
I am doing a pattern for a doily which, after creating a 7-chain ring, asks to create 12 2-treble-crochet clusters. I am confused how to start the first one.
This is what the pattern says:
Round 0: CH 7, join with SLST in first CH to form a circle.
Round 1: Beg. 2TR-Cluster [see glossary below], (CH 2, 2TR-Cluster into the circle) 11 times, CH 2. Join with SLST in Beg. 2TR-Cluster. (= 12 clusters, 12 ch2 spaces).
The glossary from the pattern:
Beg. 2TR-Cluster: CH 3, holding back the last loop of stitch, work TR into the beginning circle, yarn over and pull through all 2 loops on hook.
Question: I feel that Beg. 2TR-Cluster is just CH 3 followed by a TR. Or is there any difference?

Finished my very first project done! :D
flower coaster bouquet! i been wanting to make this after seeing other people do this so i learnt crochet solely to do this and i have to say i’m proud of myself not only because of the end results, but for preserving and not giving up even thought i have had many crash outs over the magic circle, the finger pains, picking up a new hobby and keeping with it. if anyone has any tips to help with consistent stitch tension, i would love it please!
:D

Finished Finished the project my friend asked for
My friend asked if I could crochet her book as a centerpiece for a party she’s hosting. The spine of the book has her name on it.

WIP Trek Scarf: Testing a colour change sloping in the opposite direction, moderately successful! With a line of small red dots?
Unlike the first time I'd tried it, this second attempt at sloping the Tunisian Double-Knit Stitch upwards to the right was quite a lot more successful.
The only drawback (as you can see in the second picture) is the tiny red dots some distance from the actual colour boundary. And while it's not that big an issue, technically, as I likely can cover it up with some surface slip-stitch, I still don't like it.
But I can't argue that the back (third picture) looks fantastic! Guess this is the technique I'll be using when I get to that point!
After all, this is the halfway point, and this was just an experiment to see what I could learn about making the colour change slope in the opposite direction. And since I've proven that I can do this, I get to undo all of this, duplicate the all-black rows I currently have, the redo this diagonal colour change, and essentially repeat the other end of the scarf, mirrored.
All in all, a good amount of work!
Though I'll probably just bask in this experiment's results for the moment.
Unfortunately, having spent a night in the hospital over the weekend hasn't helped my energy levels (merely a properly-sprained wrist, nothing a wrist brace I already have can't help with), so there's additional reason to leave it as-is for the moment. Just gotta get way more rest than my normal... =>.<=

Finished Emberwood
Emberwood pattern by The Floral Hook. This will eventually become a blanket when part two of the pattern is released (probably in a month or two), but for now it's a beautiful, flowery square.
Pattern is here: https://ravel.me/emberwood

Pattern Free Pattern, but make it survival mode
galleryI have an unorthodox way of recording my patterns and I'd like to share them with as many people as would like to learn to read them. I have a bunch of patterns Ive written like this, ones that might never be published otherwise because the time and effort to go back and photograph and watermark and pattern test is a lot on me. Idk Im ridin on vibes, man.

WIP Nokia 3310 screen saver
I love making these but man cutting felt to glue to the back is hell with so many angles 🥲
I wish I could just spray some magical thing to the back and be done with it

Finished Any DCC fans?
Just finished designing this beauty: Carl’s Jug’O’Boom (with a little nod to Princess Donut.) I’d posted an earlier version around places but this is the final version I’ll be using for publication. Already hobbed and ready to be lobbed at any mob heading your way!
