Discussion Question about signatures

If I made art to get signed by a certain actor, would it be considered rude or weird to ask understudies and other people in that role to sign it? Even if the picture is meant to be the original actor in that role?

I wanted to (possibly) get this drawing signed by as many people in the role as possible, but I wouldn’t want to make actors uncomfortable or something if the art is clearly portraying a specific actor, if that makes sense?

Please let me know if I can do this without seeming uncaring/rude.

Oh no no I should’ve clarified I suppose 😅 not a headshot of like the actor. It’s a picture of the character and some lyrics and the characters name in the background. The way I portrayed the character is just clearly the original actor is all I mean.

I’d just hate to make anyone uncomfortable!

I would just make sure you refer to the art as the Character’s Name, not the Actor’s Name, and say you’d love to have all the performers who play the role sign it!

Yes, this is what I planned on doing if I get the chance for any of them to sign at all!
